I'm not sure if this is the right place but anyway, people can post on this what they think could be added in a update for UGX CHAT.

I have seen this first on BTTV witch is better twitch tv, a addable app for the bowser of those that use twitch.tv alot, there is alot of features on this but one that I think could work for the UGX CHAT alot witch is the function witch people can set there own nicknames witch will be highlighted in the chat whenever someone says them, such as: his/her username, his/her real name or just about anything they are called to more clearly show that person and that person only that someone is talking to them or trying to get there attention.  I know the UGX staff have added a feature like this but I think they could expand on it abit like the BTTV one cause in some cases like for example deathbringerzen, alot of people in the chat call him death or zen but with the @ in front won't show up for him, so he might not see that someone is talking to him and if this was put in to the chat he could set multiple nicknames so that they would. Will thats my idea, now I'd like to hear yours.

I don't remember for certain but I think the latest version of the chat that Delta has already partially developed recognizes shorthand for a name (@Death to mention the only person with Death in the first half of their name, etc) - but setting custom nicknames could also be useful... however I'm sure it would only take 5 seconds for someone to set @Dickface as their chat nickname...

yh i can see how that would be silly but the nicknames that BTTV uses is that only the person can see it, if you have BTTV trem you probably know what i mean
