may as well tell you, GunofTruth was recently banned from this forum (for many reasons, many of which of I don't even know.) so we suspect him of being this 'secretive hacker' as he has all the reasons to be doing this. AS far as we know, the people who gave their credentials to GOT for the CoD:online thing have possibly had their profiles hacked into. Some people who have a high ranking in the community had pornographic GIF's (moving dick pics) posted on their behalf, making them look like a complete dickhead to anyone who viewed the posts. some had their profile pictures changed to said GIF, basically to the same affect as the people who had the GIF's posted in their name.
Hope this clarifies it for anyone who reads this post

The site itself was not compromised. The reason some accounts where compromised today was because those users did not use a unique password for their forum account. Their password was compromised from signing up to CoD Online, and the "hacker" (who I will not bother naming right now) simply guessed that they used the same password for both CoD Online and this forum. So it's really the users who are to blame for poor password habits.

Moral of the story: get a password generator and a password management application such as KeePass or LastPass.
