Extra WAW Weapons for BO1
 
 
since bo1 has most waw weapons from zombies with just a few missing, it would be fair to make the rest more available
(I didn't include the panzerschreck or the flamethrower since they're already in the bo1 game files)
 
everything is included, materials, models, anims, sounds & soundaliases
 





 
also, these weapons use the pap models ported from waw so the bo1 pap camo won't be applied
 
on top of that I didn't port the world models from waw for the papped versions of these weapons except the colt45, meaning when upgraded the world model is the same
 
I left install instruction in the folder with this download (sorry if they're not clear enough)
if you have any issues let me know and I'll do my best
 
anyway, that's all, hope some people can enjoy using this!!!

These are awesome, the MG42 still stands as one of the coolest MGs ever. I don't have any experience porting weapons but do you think the BO1 engine would support WaW weapons with Bayonets?

Probably since bo1 is really similar to waw. I could port the animations and models at least but I'm not 100% on how to make a weapon use a different melee than the default knife but I could probably figure it out. I've wanted to port waw mp weapons like the dp28 and the type99 but haven't gotten around to it. It can take quite a while to port weapons to bo1 but I think having the bayonet weapons in bo1 zombies could be pretty cool

Since posting this I was able to get the Arisaka to have a bayonet. It already has it ready by default, by changing bayonet from 0 to 1 you have it. Then you can manually change the melee damage and melee animations (which are present). Only issue I have right now is the model itself doesn't actually show a bayonet.

idk if you already figured it out but in the weapon file you need to take the model tag for the bayonet away, and then it should show. if you open it with the ugx weapon editor and go to model you should see a box called hide tags and everything listed in there are parts of the model being hidden. you should be able to see this as well if you open the weapon file with a text editor and see the lines below the main one

Oh don't worry about it, it's okay. Honestly I've been just editing weapons by entering the weapon file using a text editor. I didn't continue much with it since I got it to function but I'm sure what you mentioned would allow it to be visible.
