hey guys, i've finally gotten to the point where i think it is necessary to post a WIP page for my new map in the map contest valley hideout. the map is based on a small town that has taken matters into their own hands and has tried to stop the zombie apocalypse from affecting them, their town is a large town where Patriotism is their main focus and as well as being a very secretive town there is more than meets the eye when it comes to this town. i will plan on working on the map a lot more now because the new dlc for black ops 2 is almost phased through with me be anyways here are some screen shots, will be updating this a lot hopefully
also a new custom perk!!!!

Any updates? 

actually yes i have some updates, so basically i was really fed up with the way my radiant was working and just sick and tired of all the pointless errors i was getting so i restarted i have changed the general design of my map and i have alot in plan i am slowly getting comfortable in maya and will be making some pretty awesome and cool models and i have tested my perk but i am still having trouble with it if any one would like to try to help me that would be awesome and i am working on making my very own weapon for this map, but anyways here some pics hope you enjoy!!






i know i havent been updating but i will be soon once my part time job ends

good luck with the redesign i know that can be hard.. and any news on the custom weapon would be nice   

i am currently in the process of animating my own weapon and i am only a measly begginer so, but i will show you a picture of how it will look after all anims and exporting

Keep in mind that while you are welcome to add whatever you want to the map, the contest is solely based on the map layout and how fun the map is to play - adding a new weapon is not going to raise the score very much. Since you are working with a limited time frame I would invest your time in the map itself for the remainder of the contest and add stuff like this in later. Just my two cents.

looks cool

yeah ive been mapping but it been getting really boring so i decided to add some custom weapons and learn how to animate but i wont forget about the soul purpose of the mapping contest

ok guys so i wanted to add some more pictures and well at this point i really want to try to make a nice enjoyable map i have no intensions of winning what so ever but i really want to come back and make a nice strong second map so ive got some pictures for you guys and with school starting up ill try to map as much as i can

yeah i also made a huge change because the house i hade made earlier was huge and wasnt scale so im making three main buildings here is one

the second and remember that i still am adding details and have yet to light the map yet

vault to the bank, i made it in maya myself (nothing to special)

the hallway doors with a orange stripe texture have yet to be completed
