I put this in this section, since I'm not asking for help or anything, I'm asking for an opinion.

So I have been using an old 1600x900 Hanns.g monitor for quite some time, and having used 1080p monitors in school and enjoying the extra viewing space, I decided to get one.

All well, I love it, sleek, colors are awesome and viewing space...

But I run into one issue with this one specifically, of course, has to be me.... (before we get started it's an Acer K222HQL)

Essentially, in certain colors (more bright ones and solid colors), the cursor leaves a slight trail, depending on the color, it can be pretty noticeable.

So my question is: Should I return it for a replacement/refund? I can probably ignore it, but I know sometimes I will find it annoying, and it's one of those things once you've seen it, you can't un-see it, you know it's there, and it'll always be at your head.

If there is a way to fix it (I've messed with every setting Windows, AMD CCC and the monitor has to try and fix it), I would love that over going back to the store.

Let me know your opinions.

If the replacement does that too then I'd suggest buying a different brand. Acer is sort of hit or miss with monitors. ASUS is usually reliable.

I have a BenQ 144Hz 1080p monitor, I've used BenQ for a while with no problems - recommended. ASUS are also reliable.

Yeah Scotch suggested BenQ, out school also have AOC monitors in the CAD room, and they work pretty nice, I'll bring my laptop with me and request to test it there

Thanks guys, Argos were pretty decent and gave me a replacement once I demonstrated the issue, new one works 100%, appreciate the opinions.
