I noticed that many maps allow spectators to respawn next to the person they are observing, but I don't know how to do it. Players just reaspawn on initial spawn points.
Anyone can help me ? I'd appreciate it.

So, i was looking around the website to find some old maps to dust off WAW with, and after i stumbled across this one, i noticed the release date and i was pleasantly surprised by the fact people are still making mods for WAW instead of BO3 :o
I loved everything about it, especially the little nods to COD Ghosts both in map layout and in gameplay mechanics, my only complaint is that the process to turn the power on is a bit confusing at first, but as i said, the map is amazing and i love it!
9/10 i gotta get some buddies to play it in coop some day!

IMPORTANT: Recently after some years away from COD WAW i've wanted to start to make some maps again, but when i searched a way to download the mod tools the only article i found was from an old UGX post long deleted, so as a complete nerd i went to the wayback machine and got the link anyway, and now i'm re-uploading the post for the enjoyment of the whole 5 people that still love this game like me. lol.

Modtools Installation Guide

This is a complete guide on installing the World at War Modtools to a v1.7 version of World at War. If you are using a non-Steam version of the game, be sure to read  Patching World at War.

NOTE: Before reading this guide, determine where your World at War root directory is located.
Non-Steam Install: C\Program Files (x86)\Activision\Call of Duty World at War\
Steam Install: C\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Call of Duty World at War\
For the rest of this guide, it will be assumed that the word "root" refers to the appropriate installation path shown above.
Say 'Yes to all' if Windows asks you about replacing files when dragging files into your root directory.


Downloading the Files
 
The first step to installing the Modtools is downloading them. UGX does not mirror the Modtools files because they are too large and would consume too much bandwidth. Here are some trusted mirrors to download the Modtools from. You need to download all five files:

You will also need to download the UGX Modtools patch. This is a fix similar to the Sniperbolt tutorial patch but has been optimized and some bugs have been fixed. You can download that here:

Installing the Files
 
Official Patches
 
Now it is time to install the downloaded files. You must install them in order from 1.0 to 1.4, then lastly with the UGX Modtools Patch.
To install each Official Modtools patch:
 
  • Open it with WinRAR or another archiving program.
      Enter the CoD_WW_MODTOOLS_1.X folder.
      Drag all files and folders within to your root directory. Click REPLACE and APPLY TO ALL when asked if you want to merge/replace X files.
 
      UGX Modtools Patch
 
      To install the UGX Modtools patch:
  • Open it with WinRAR or another archiving program.
      Drag all files and folders within to your root directory. Click REPLACE and APPLY TO ALL when asked if you want to merge/replace X files.
 
Converting Assets
 
When starting with a fresh Modtools install you need to run the batch Converter. This is basically the converter from Asset Manager which converts all non-converted assets.
To complete this step:
 
  • Open Launcher.exe. This file is located in root\bin.


          Note: It is a good idea to create a shortcut for Launcher.exe and put it in a convenient location.


  • On the left list of buttons, click Converter. It will take a few minutes to run, go get a snack.

Cleaning up the Trash
 
If you were to compile anything by now, you would see some red errors that say that certain files could not be accessed. To get rid of these stupid errors, delete these 4 folders from root\mods:
 
  • HumorModTWO
  • mp_HumorModTWO
  • usermaps
  • mp_usermaps


        Note: If you cannot delete the folders, close Launcher.exe first and try again

Now that you have installed the Modtools and patched all of the errors, you are ready to start making maps and mods!

Hi everyone, I bring you a super challenging map! Enjoy lots of special zombies and wonder weapons and fight to the end!
 
Attention:
Remember zombies within 500 range of Brutus are immune to the effects of the wonderWeapon. So don't ask" Why my thundergun/blackhole/mk3 doesn't work" all the time. You can end this protection by knocking Brutus's hat off.

1.Repackaged the file to make it smaller.

1.Fixed some bugs.
2.Edit some weapons.
3.Add chainsaw with m203 launcher from Ghosts, remove m16.(Sorry to upload again, but a friend of mine strongly suggested me to add this weapon so I convert this).
4.mech now fly faster.

1.Add MW2’s Juggernuat (new boss).
2.Weakened the ability of bo3_panzer.
V1.4:
1.Add panzer from Bo3(new boss make this map harder).
2.Fixed some bugs.
V1.3.1:
1.fixed the bug of spectators respawn.
2.fixed a bug of mule_kick.
3.fraggrenade explode once impact.
V1.3:
1.Add message when beat the game.
2.Give player mortar strike when buying the end.
3.Fixed the wrong character xmodel.
4.Fixed some bugs.
 
lts an octagon-like map but with completel different terrain, which took me a lot of time because l did all scripting and radiant work by myself(of course, tis would notbepossible without the help of many people)
 
This is a difficult map, but not impossible, testers and I beat Nightmare difficulty in Time Mode.
 
Tips:
- Remember to buy armor, it will make your game easier.
- When Goliath smash ground, surrounding zombies will be strengthen. So kill goliath as soon as possible.
- ADS fire gain more points.
- dead shot give you extra points when you make headshot kill.
- Zombies within 500 range of Brutus are immune to the effects of the wonderWeapon. You can end this protection by knocking Brutus's hat off.
- phd can reduce the damage you take from bosses.
- If you don't have enough money to buy the ending, you can deposit points at endgame_point, so if you and your friends have enough points totally, you can buy the ending.
- Spectators respawned by super revive system or power-ups will respawn on other players instead of original respawn point.

- weapontrade system and points trde system: You can give your friends 1000 points by looking at them and holding usebutton for a while. When the progress bar is not full, give him1000 points. When the progress bar is full, you will exchange weapons(To exchange weapons, both parties need to press use botton).

Hello UGX Mod community. I wanted to ask if anyone would have a Weapons pack for WaW that they don't use or have saved in the drive cloud? I want to make new maps but lately I've been using Black Ops 2 or Infinity Warfare weapons a lot and it's like the public eventually gets tired of those weapons. Any weapon they have would help me add and change the usual a little. I found a pack, for example, of Cod 4 weapons that I never use in Waw but the problem is that they don't have the updated ones and I can make them but it would take me a while to do so. Anyway, if anyone helps me with that, I guarantee that I will give you credits and well, nothing... that! Greetings!

THIS IS MY FIRST MAP
HOUSE
 
INSPIRED BY NACHT DER UNTOTEN

I've been interested in making maps for BO1 Zombies so I watched a bunch of CoDWaW tutorials on YT from GAM3VIDZ to learn the basics and made this map for WaW in the process. so shout out him for the in depth tutorials! and shout out to 5and5 & Ville Sarastus on YT for the Black Ops mod tool tutorials! (i dont understand russian ;-; ) Shout out all the UGX mappers for making my childhood awesome :) also RIP YOTESLAYA!
 
This map was inspired by Nacht Der Untoten, hence the small map layout, few-but-effective wall weapons, and a risky camping spot.
I haven't been able to last more than about 14 rounds (pause) because of how hard this map is (i probably just suck):keyboardslam:
The zombies start going crazy and running after round 2 or 3 so good luck.
 
There is probably only one area in this map u can camp in but if you dont use the right weapon you will become overwhelmed quickly. I unintentionally made this map pretty difficult  :troll:
*I know "House" is a dull, generic name but I'm new to this and didn't want to risk messing up my map by renaming files*

Hi! like the title says this is another nuketown map, but in minecraft. I always wanted to do a minecraft map with good quality so i started to work with this one from half a year now, it have the new versions textures, custom viewhands, custom brutus skins, and alot more with minecraft theme in it. It's a simple map with a little easter egg to build the nether portal and pay the end, so i hope you enjoy the map.
 
This isn't a hard map it's more of a survival map with a short mission to do.
 
This map it's a recreation of a never released map for minecraft which i only have pictures and a video, so i tried to recreate it block by block by just seeing the low res and weird perspective of the videos and pictures that i have. I'll link the original creator video so you can see how the original map looks like compared to this one. :D
