Is it possible for me to install UGX Mod v1.0.3 while in the middle of creating a map? Will this affect anything in my maps?

You can add it at any point in development. When the mod is installed, it will be enabled for any map you compile. Once you finish and release the map you can uninstall the mod from your tools if you do not want it to affect your other map compiles.
