I'm trying to export custom animation for a sonic screwdriver rig I made a few days ago. However, no matter what method I use, I cannot find a workaround on why it will not allow me to open the animation exporter. I am using Maya 8.5 with the official Call of Duty mod tools Maya plugin and I get this error every time I try to export an animation.

Code Snippet
Plaintext
// Error: Reference file: [E:/Games/Call of Duty - World at War/bin/maya/rigs/viewmodel/ViewModel_DefMesh.mb] needs to be under C:/. //

I have World at War installed on my E: Drive and this issue has only popped up in the last week or so. I hadn't any problems with it beforehand. I've tried copying and pasting the rigs folder into my C: Drive in both

Code Snippet
Plaintext
C:\Games\Call of Duty - World at War\bin\maya
Code Snippet
Plaintext
C:\cod5\cod\cod5modtools\public\bin\maya

Neither have fixed the issue. I've restarted Maya countless times and I'm unsure what the issue is? Do I have to the mod tools installed on my C: Drive or anything? Anyone have any ideas?

After downloading Maya 2012 and Aidan's plugin, it didn't give me that annoying error anymore :D I'd been holding off on updating Maya, mainly because of the large file size. Thanks man^
