I have a lot of questions before I get started (This is all in Radiant by the way)

1: Are the maps automatically a Der Riese Mod?
2: How do I get perks into my map?
3: Can I add teleporters?
4: Is it possible to carve out parts of a wall or should I m...

It looks.like you made the up down scroller (usually aligned on the left) stretch all the way to the textures area.
Hover your mouse and drag it back.

Okay so I have not opened Radiant in a while. Or even my computer that much, I have not installed any new programs but every time I open Radiant it looks like this

My friend asked me if I knew anything about mapping or if I could find out. But I have clue what to do to make a map, I don't know what I need. If I had the software I could find out stuff about it and teach myself but my main question here is what do I need to make a map. I think it would be awesom...
