alright guys so i have a question that i know isnt very easy to answer verbally but is an easy question, how do you texture a weapon, like in maya i have all my uv maps ready to go but from there where do i go? how do i make the gun looked detailed and look like a real gun? any tips or tricks or even tuts.

lol, you could have made the gun based on a picture and the create uvs based on camera
what i mean use a real life picture and make your uvs match it

Yes to both. Pathnode limit is 2048, I believe. Can't remember for sure.

i have 1200 and suddenly none of my nodes were connected ;__;
and fuck lights >:( lol

confirmed!!! there will be a deathmachine powerup thanks to the don goony :D

ALSO, anyone knows if there is a pathnode limit?
and primary lights count as dinamic lights?

I would reference _zombiemode_zone_manger.gsc. Specifically the "enable_zone" function.

Kill all zombies inside and disable the zone.

i dont know how to disable zones :DD lol as i told before destroying that building wont be an option in this map or at least in the initial release, sorry :c

and what about the pathnodes and zones? i know how to destroy a building but i would have to think what to do with everything inside of it

As ray said objectives but maybe a real helicopter escape from a roof top, with vehicle paths and AI. :P
lol you thought the heli was just decoration? im working so you can fly on it and get down in mid air but i have trouble so players fall inside playable area lol also first teleporter and pwer switch will be buildables, without them you wont be able to exit the star area(the 9 floor building)

If I didnt screw up the detailing then my map could've won the contest.
Suggestions? Objectives! Some more Black Ops guns! Blow up da building with da bomb!
wow o.O i think thats pretty impossible because of how my building is made :L or it will be pretty hard to do, but maybe one day i'll make a new version of the map with that as a feature :ooo

btw this is the complete layout of the map, it still needs a lot of work and detail

I can see the inspiration from some of the official maps translate well in here. For example I clearly thought I saw the starting room from five and the house from buried.

Guess I'm going back on my meds!  :o

In all seriousness though, It gives me a dead island vibe. You never know what is lurking around the next corner, undecided as to whether you should hold down the fort in a condo or take your chances on the streets.

Making the player decide the decisions for themselves brings in this deeper level of gameplay, perhaps even a metagame?! Anyways great job, I'll be staying tuned in.

wow :o someone discovered my intentions on how i want the gameplay to be here :ooo and yeah i took some inspiration(and models) from five xD but i didnt from buried :) thats just coincidence
and thanks all of you for your comments ;) i'll make new places in this map o.O it will be bigger lol so this may takes 2 months to come out depending on school and homework
