I fixed my last problem easy because it was a common sense problem and this one maybe too, but ctrl tab and the xyz view change both won't work it stays stuck on this side view, and the only way i can get the object to move is by pressing and holding shift tab. but it only moves up and down. (all in the 2D grid)

If you look closely, there's 2 lines between the 2D height window and 3D and texture view, pull the line closest to the 2D view to the left. :)
