so I started working on nightfire to try and get it ready for release but I came acrossed an initial compile issue:


It only happens when I try to compile "Build Fastfile" and i really dont know what it means

here is the error number doubt it matters though lmao Error -1073741811

here what is in the console

The duplicate sound alias errors are fine and can be ignored. The humormod stuff you need to unmark them as "read-only" or delete them.

I don't know what the error means unfortunately. Are you running it as admin?

Ya that stuff is fine I can compile my other maps its just this one has this weird error. Its got to be something in the actual map but I cant figure out what because it gives 0 indication of what it is...

you arent supposed to only compile fast files. that error is because u didnt compile the bsp information

Ya I believe so where should I look to be certain? it compiled fine when I did BSP though

okay it stops at the same spot when all is compiled though I think something in the game is messing it up but idk what unless it tells me

NO thats all wrong the folder where you have WAW installed is read only go to properties and take the mark out now should everything work

still didn't work I took the read-only off of the activision folder in program filesx86 which is what I was supposed to do right?

do you launch the launcher as admin?

1. Make sure you're running launcher as administrator
2. Have you got these selected? (You don't need to compile reflections I guess)
