Zombies not spawning in "adjacent" zones (hard to explain)

This is difficult to explain what my problem is, but here goes:

The game spawns zombies in the zone you are in, and any adjacent zones at the time.

My zones are laid out as follows:

Waterfall_zone
 *adjacent to*
power_building_bottom
   *adjacent to*
power_building_top

Now I want zombies to spawn in waterfall_zone whilst the player is in power_building_top, which is 2 zones away, how can this be achieved?

I tried declaring it as adjacent to waterfall_zone, and using an unused script flag, so just setting adjacency, but it hasn't worked.

mapname.gsc looks like this:

What would I need to change to make zombies spawn in power_building_top,bottom and waterfall_zone, when the player is stood in power_building_top?

one option is to place the spawners from the area your in, in the waterfall area

then they will only spawn if your in that area, but will be spawning from the other

I did this a while back on my old castle map, just have to be really careful you dont end up placing them in places that "could" be sealed off when in the alternate area, so can be a little messy and take a lot of critical thinking

I could create a new set of riser spawns for the area, and the power building zones are linear away from waterfall zone, as in on way through the zones I listed, they MUST be opened in that order, so shouldn't be too difficult, Would having 2 lots of riser spawners cause any problems down the line at all? Increased G-spawn risk maybe?

bascially what i mean is

zone 1 and zone 2 are active

but when you in zone 1, you want some spawners for zone 1 popping up in zone 2, and maybe jumping down from it or something

so in zone 2 - put a set of zone 1 spawners.

They will only spawn if zone 1 is active and your in it, if your in zone 2, then only the zone 2 spawners that are up there will spawn

wouldnt worry about Gspawn for this one, sure if you had like a 1000 spawners lol, but otherwise i think your ok ;)

I fully understand that, Im just wondering if it will cause any problems down the line.
Given the zone already has like 9 riser spawns in it.

wouldnt think so, you could either do this, or have a script grab some of the spawners when they spawn and move them instead

Ill add some extra risers then, wont cause any harm, given waterfall zone is huge, I can add risers relatively close to the power building, so it works out well.

My reasoning for this is you can drop down out of the top of the power building, I wanted there to be risk of zombies when you fall, as at the minute all the zombies will be in the building, giving several seconds if safety before they funnel down the stairs.

I would have the zombies follow you down the drop, but there are only zombie traverses for certain height drops, none if which the right height

i can try and make some others, if you can think of any places they do something similar in one of the other zombie maps

Do they jump of the lighthouse in COTD? I forget
