I've had this problem b4. Just delete curve and terrain brushes and it should fix it NP.  :)

try making some terrain and curve patches non-colliding, do that with mostly all the things that dont need collision.
ex: if you have a alpla-blended terrain patch just pick 1 of the 2 layers and make that layer non- collideable, in conclusion if the player wont be able to touch that terrain just make  it non-colliding :P

Do cylinders count as well, so I could just make most of my cylinders non-colliding and place a clip there instead
?  The don't count as patches & shit do they?

This collision limit only counts for brushes. everything else (curve-terrain-patches, models, etc.) shouldn't count.
except for prefabs, some of them contain brushes.
