I have made a video and put it in main/video.  the video plays when i play solo. but when i gave my map to other people they don't have the video play when the play solo. it just shows activision. how do i make other people see the video too when they play solo with sound?

You have to distribute the video with the map. Programs like the UGX Installation Creator and the UGX Map Manager will place these automatically for you.

Just give it to your friends and instruct them to place the file in their root/main/video folder or use the UGX Installation creator which will automatically place the file.
