Hey,

I've been looking for updated and working modtools to create maps. I've downloaded about 4 different kinda each with updates 1.0 - 1.4. and no prevail. It's really bothering me.

Does anyone know how to ether fix/download working ones?

Whenever I run the modtools and attempt to convert/compile_map it works for a while but then gets a error 1 in the bottom right and stops the compile/convert, it alway's stops on like Flametable.gtf, and flame_wasp_thirdperson or something.

I really wanna get into making maps but it has stopped me. Please help.


OS: Win7 64-bit

1.4 is the latest, but you need to install all of them in order.

If you using a "non steam" copy ( so the disc version ) you also need to update the game first to v1.7

So patch if needed, then install each of the mod tools in order, not one of them

Oh nice ty But dont i need the script adder thing to make the map?

UPDATE: I ran the Converter first and i got this:

Next go to the call of duty directory, open the "bin" folder

and right click each "exe" file, and set them to run in compatibility mode for Xp or something

Then back out of bin, and call of duty, select the whole directory, right click, properties, untick read only - this could take a short while, there are a lot of files
