Ok so I have a Mp40 with aperture sight and STG with telescopic sight, but when I buy the box and get one of those weapons, it looks like they have no sights that I put on them. Is there a way to fix this?

without editing the scripts: change the name of the file to not have the attatchment
So instead of "mp40_aperture_mp" I should just make it "mp40_mp" or "mp40"?

Correction, the name doesn't matter. weapons with the _mp at the end are just as valid as weapons with a zombie_ in front of the weaponfile name.

not even that. You can have the name with whatever attachment you want in it. Just make sure all the proper modelsl are called and that the tags are set up correctly, and the file is included in all the proper scripts.

Like I said, the name doesn't matter. You can literally copy a weaponfile, say the Thompson, and rename it to something like the STG, and you wouldn't notice the difference(within reason, the Thompson ammo would stack, and the Thompson's weight in the box would be double, as well as the stg's buyable chalk would give you a Thompson, etc). The only thing that matters is what's in the weapon file
