So I was following trem's tut (like three years old) a couple days ago and it worked fine, Morphing the weapon, I could put a new model and it would work fine.. I tried it again, but this time, in game the thirdperson model is showing up, but the firstperson, is not .. at all..
any chance i'm just skipping something, thanks - teddi
how exactly would I go by doing that, right now I am doing this in my patch's csv, is that right?

As long as you are then after compiling your patch it should be ok. I see you have the viewmodel and worldmodel as the same model in the weapon file, could you post a picture of the model's joint hierarchy in maya?

Yeah that model is set up as a world model. Viewmodels have a different set of required joints. Export the viewmodel for the m1carbine which should have a root joint of "j_gun" and add your additions to that. Keep the current model you have in the worldmodel slot but set the new model as the viewmodel in the weaponfile.
