hello, i keep trying to make this image with a transparent image but i keep failing can someone help me . or point me to a tut. thanks  ooops  image is going to be used on my maps. ( radiant )

See the section about Blend Textures and use those settings in Assman.
Also don't forget to save that image as a DXT5 .DDS file using either Photoshop with DDS plugin or Paint.NET (which supports it standard), before trying to use it. It mentions that in the tutorial too.
