2nd, what's your budget? If you can afford it, I would go with an Intel CPU + motherboard and a higher Nvidia card.

Once I know your budget I can recommend specific hardware.

the one I showed credentials on is 500 and comes with a gaming mouse and keyboard. Thats my budget also 500 dollars. I want to get one already built because I would never be able to build it without him knowing about it and im working usually when hes at school. so im stuck with having it built already

Ah alright, understood. One thought that came to mind would be to order the parts and have it be a project for the both of you, but with a budget of $500 it's hard to beat the price + performance of a prebuilt PC.

The only I linked to has a much better Graphics Card and a slightly better CPU. It may look similar to what you found, though.

The one I linked to should be able to do medium on the current games like BF3 and Skyrim, and high+ on older games.
