There are at least 1 of these things in every room in our home. so i was wondering if it would be possible too rout internet through them using our modem or router. granted the internet would probably be shit, because these things are probably only like 3 kat or less, but would it be possible?

they are just extensions from whichever is the "main" point in your home ( most likely your front hallway or living room )

you can only run off any one of these, sadly you cannot just plug another router ( or hardwire ) in further down the line, as the "internet" has already been claimed by the original router further up the line

so the answer is no, but one thing i know some people do is run a second router - from the current router - sounds like madness, but some gamers do it if they have to rely on wireless connections. It makes no difference to upload/download speeds but if their device is the only one connected to a particular routers wireless it does help with performance, plus they can lock it down to just their devices without interfering with other in the home who will still be able to sign into the original routers wireless ( This can be very helpful if someone in your home likes to stream Netflix or something while you game, )

fibre optic BB does not use these points at all either, they run on a seperate line, so your even more restricted with that
