Hey beautiful people :)
This is my custom map I have been working on for a while, most of you have probabely already seen it...
But it is called....
Nazi Zombie Streetside!

I originaly planned on entering this into the mapping contest shown on the front page, but couldn't due to last minute errors (lots of)

Anyway, the map is set in a derelict town somewhat in the middle of nowhere, it's got and will have everything you would expect a typical town to have, from a train station to a pub...

Anyway to the pictures.

So let me know what you think of the images so far, there are quite a few areas in the map I have left out... so look forward to seeing them in the future, but if you have any ideas/ advice for what I could add to the map or change to make it better please just leave a comment, and let me know what you think anyway...

I will also be adding more misc detail into the map once it reaches the stage of near completion.

Also any questions, just ask..

I would recommend displacing your verts some with the grass to give it a more natural terrain feel. As for the detail, looks great, just remember to clip it so the player doesn't get stuck on everything, but also isn't running into invisible walls. ;)

What style of map will you be making it?

Ah yeah, that would probably be better for me to do that, thanks... And i've already clipped the majority of the playable area, just hid it or the images sake :) just need to make sure like you said, the player isn't walking into invisible walls.

As for the style of map, More of a linear map, But I have some ideas to add some verticality to it.
Hopefully, imagine what Tranzit would have been like if it was more moon styled/sized... But idk yet for sure ;)

Good to know but, I meant like v 1.0, 1.2, 1.3, 1.4, and if so will you be using a custom mod?

Knew i'd get the context wrong lol... But i'll be using 1.4, and at the moment using UGX mod 1.0.3, But as soon as 1.1 is released, will be working on adding the 1.1 features :) and nope, no need for any other mod, UGX has all i'd need/want :)

Not going to be working on this map any more until the release of 1.1 :)
Once 1.1 is out i'll carry on with work...
adding v1.1 will be a quick 30 minutes of work. For that your going to sacrifice tens of hours of work that could be making this map better than it already is?

I could have elaborated a lil bit more I suppose :P But i'll still be working on it, just not as much, might learn some of the scripting in the meantime...
