does anybody know how to get the correct materials for mw3 weapons? i've tried everything...... and my weapons just turn out to have hundreds of small holes in them.... probably caused by their normal map........ im using their own images but it seems like the correct material is just a wet dream ....... any help is appreciated

what do you guys know about model smoothing in maya?
i have ghosts's vector crb and i want to smooth the iron sights.....
but i want to smooth them in a way that the sights are smooth and the uv texturing doesnt look broken....
if you have any tutorial of how to do it i would appreciate it :3

so the other day, i ported the pkp pecheneg from mw3 to my mod.....
but somehow this is what happened to the bullet chain







this never happened to any lmg i ported

when i ported m240 the chain was fine
but NOOOO the pecheneg is a nasty piece of work

i would appreciate any help

P.S. yeah yeah i wish i didnt have the stupidest problems of the world so i wouldnt have to write it here but........

i know i post a lot of problems i have on this site, and probably have busted too many nuts by now.....
but i decided to put the mw3 hybrid sight  on mw3 m4 for my mod....
i did all the material conversions and the anims for the hybrid......
and added them to my weapon file
but on game this is how my gun appears



what have i done wrong?

i was checking people's topics on how to make a moving texture..... so i followed the tutorials... and the moving texture works.... but all of it......
i have the image of a galaxy and for moving texture i put an image of stars... i made the alpha channels and removed every single black pixel..... so i got the stars as a result....
how can i make only the stars instead of the complete material move?

and for my mod on the mod builder when i compile it pops me this:

how can mod tools become useless all the sudden?

so whenever i shoot a rifle and i have rifle_view for shell eject on the weapon file..... in game i cant hear the sound of the brass hitting the ground....
is there any fix on this ?

so i spent more than 2 months on porting guns to waw... i've learnt to do it really good but i still encounter problems than i cant fix so i was hoping you could give me some help with the situation.......

1) i ported the peacekeeper to waw (models anims and everything)...... so i went to the game and got the peacekeeper but only the viewhands were visible, the gun wasnt..... so then i tried to port the peacekeeper with a silencer and for some reason the gun was visible..... how can the peacekeeper is invisible and the peacekeeper suppressed wasnt? how can i solve it...??? (that same problem happened with the bo1 spas12)

2) i ported the bo2 mp7... when i went to the game the gun was visible THANK GOD but there were missing meshes from it (especially the mp7 was missing the bolt).... same problem with the saiga12 and the hk416........ missing meshes... its really frustrating... how can i solve it????

3) i ported the g36c from mw3 ..... and when i went to the game the second mag was floating in my front of me although on maya in the animations the mag is behind the tag_camera, far as well.......
how can i solve it ? xD

So guys i got a few issues which i need to solve so im gonna write them all here instead of writing one single topic for each one.......
1) i want to put a trace fx that comes out of the guns but i dont know how...... how do i do it?

2) zombies dont come off the ground, instead they just spawn by magic xD ..... how can i solve this?

3) i want to make a scope overlay for snipers but i had no luck since ASSMAN doesnt wanna convert it.... what are the right properties to convert it?
and last but not least..... 4) is there any tutorial on how to make neon lights on your map? i cant find any xD

so i have this problem where i buy a gun from the box and instead of stacking the gun to the inventory, it replaces it with my current one....... how can i fix that....??????? and how can i actually choose how many guns can i stack to my inventory?

hello guys.... so i recently startd making a mod and i begun to port guns from other cod to my mod..... but for some reason when i build MOD it deosnt wanna load the material for the specific thing..... f.e. i started porting ump45 i have the anims and the model and everything, but when i finish with the gun(assets and gun's final touches on the weapon file) building the mod wont load the mtl_viewmodel_ump45, therefore im so pissed xD
any help would be appreciated!!!

ok so i fixed that problem.... but NOW ON MY MAP when i write give ump45 on console it gives me the default weapon and it shows the default weapon as well...... the ump45 model is perfectly fine on asset viewer when i search it there....
what is life anymore
