So in my map I have some ported weapons I ported from other cods, I've got the sounds and anims working and stuff like that but the only problem is when I'm playing with someone else. If either of us has a ported weapon and we're shooting it, we hear it as if we have that weapon ourselves. For example if I have an M16 and my friend doesn't, If I fire it will sound like a normal gunshot to me. BUUUT on his side, even if he's on the other side of the map, he'll still hear it like I hear it. Loud and annoying. What is the way to fix this?

Black Ops 1 has no crawl animations, it uses same system as WaW (hide weapon).
so..... do I just leave the crawl animations in the .bulletweapon file blank?

So I'm currently working on the enfield from bo1 and I'm not sure what to do about crawling animations. I use wraith to rip everything but there's no animation for crawling for any gun.....

Any idea where I can find it or what to do? I searched up crawl in wraith and found some animations buuuut they seem useless.

Finally found the problem.....

SO when exporting the non ads animations, I use the most recent conversion rig from Collie and I would do everything correctly until it actually comes to selecting what to export....

Turns out it was exporting everything under tag_view instead of just tag_torso and tag_cambone.

That was completely messing up the ads animations.

try redoing the ads_up amd ads_down animations with tag_view+tag_ads instead
Tried it; no result. I've already ported in multiple guns but for some reason I just can't get the scar to work correctly.

As for no Harry's reply, I don't select hierarchy.

I will try ripping the models and animations again and test everything out.

So I'm working on porting the scar-h from bo2 and I've got most of the animations cleared but I just cant get the ads animations to work....... 
I selected tag_torso and tag_view and exported the ads animation but it just doesn't aim down the sights.... just gives me a zoom effect instead

Try pressing F to see if anything is filtered out. The F8 thing might work too

Subject says it all. I don't need to make the chalk but just the actual way to buy it but I'm unsure on how to do that. Any help is greatly appreciated

Try deleting your "workshop.json" file in your map's zone folder. Right click your map in launcher and click show zone folder. Then go back one to where you're in your zm_mapname folder and its in your "zone" folder. Just delete it and try to upload to workshop again

 Is there any method to get rid of the redness on the rocks? I got rid of it in waw but somehow I just can't remove it in bo3. Any help would be greatly appreciated  :)

When you create a light, make sure that in the Entity Info window/KVPs that SHADOWMAP in the "LIGHT TYPE" settings is not set to true (i.e., make sure there is no X through it). You will notice once this is false that the light will now "collide" with anything solid and cast shadows.

Please forgive my ignorance about this topic but I can't seem to get my map working with co-op. I have the problem where the non-host player is stuck at the screen where it tells you to move your mouse if you're not in game after the host has picked a gamemode. I looked around the forums a bit but failed to find a fix for it. I am unsure of what to do at this point. I saw that the problem was supposedly fixed but I seem to have the problem still. Is there any way to remove this problem?
