A script error said I was missing _zombiemode_zone_manager.gsc. I read I had to take that, and place it in the map folder in my mod folder. After doing so, I get another error; Server script compile error unknown function, then after putting in developer 1, I get - unknown function level.achievement_notify_func = maps\_zombiemode_utility::achievement_notify;

So after pressing shift + ~ I get the error log which says - Warning: Could not find zone - then the route to my root folder, and then - zone\English\mymapname_load.ff

How can I fix this? Could I just copy and rename my map.ff file to map_load.ff and place it in zone\English?

Running devmap I get - Server script compile error unknown function (see console for details).

After putting developer 1 in the console I get - unknown function level.achievement_notify_func = maps\_zombiemode_utility::achievement_notify;

What's causing this error?

I had a previous error before where I was missing  _zombiemode_zone_manager.gsc. I came across a post on another website that told someone else to take that file and put it into the mod folder and into maps. After doing that, this new error shows up.

Yes it is. As long as you have that selected it won't rewrite over your current map file.

If it works, please mark my answer as best answer.

Or he could use the script placers built in option... you know like a sensible person would.  :P

I'm trying to create the mod, but I have one issue. I'm trying to name the map in script placer, but I already have a mod folder that has the same name, and I've gotten rid of the folder in mods, and some files in zone_source. Not sure where else to look to completely gid rid of the mod. How do you completely get rid of it, so it doesn't say ''Error! One file already exists?''

So when using the placer, should I tick Already mapped?

Mod folder(and its files) is generally generated by a script placer. Don't know about other script placers, but Hankey's Sexy script placer has a checkbox that you can click that will preserve your map file when it generates the files(no overwrite).


Where can I download that version? I've searched for it on here and I can't find it. Also, on the regular Hankey placer, there's a checkbox that says ''Already mapped''. Is this the same thing? Does it preserve the map?

I have a Map_Source map file, but my mod folder is gone completely. How can I make a mod folder for it and have it work properly. The map is almost done in Radiant.

I searched the file, and found it, and then searched my root folder in xmodelsurfs, and found it in there. So it's not missing. It's not in assetgtcache\raw\raw, the folder is empty. But the folder comes up anyway.


Also, any idea how I could get my mod/radiant map to load in devmap or map? It had a capital in the name, I deleted it's mod folder a week ago, and changed the capital, but I'm not sure if that helps. It's in a new mod folder but I can't get it to run. Any help on that?

Hi guys, I'm near completion of a map, and I'm having some errors. Hopefully I can get these fixed.



I guess I'll begin with this one: WARNING: node without a volume
I've heard this one is nothing to worry about, but any comments on it would be nice.

ERROR: Texture repeats too many times.
Is this one really a problem? Could I just ignore it?

I've gotten a lot of ''surface '__' is partially floating or needs to be aligned. I've checked these, and I've aligned them, and i still get the error.

ERROR: File conflict (between non-iwd and iwd file) on xmodelsurfs 'weapon_rus_PTRS_LOD01' for xmodel 'weapon_zombie_ptrs41'.
ERROR: Cannot find 'xmodelsurfs 'weapon_rus_PTRS_LOD01'

I have around two or three of these types. Not sure at all why I would have these errors.

Any knowledge, and help on these errors would be highly appreciated.



Also, I first named my map with a capital letter, and afterward created a new mod folder using UGX script placer. I ran the compiler with my first map which has a capital, with my new mod under mod specific map. Not sure if this is the right thing to do. After I built the mod using my new mod folder which worked fine. I have the original map under the name test, and my new mod folder separately though, and I want my test map to be in the mod folder only. I tried running my original mod name under test in the command and nothing happened. I tried running my new mod and nothing happened as well.

Hey everyone. I joined about a month ago, and I have a post already, but thought I'd introduce myself to get acquainted with everyone. I'm working on a map and it's near completion so I will post my map in progress soon, and possibly in a few weeks I will complete it and put it up for download. I might need some extra help, and if you want, just let me know what you can do.

Hi, I downloaded the mod tools with the UGX modtools patch, made a map from the tutorial v2.0, and when I run the game I get the error: 

Server script compile error

Could not find script 'mptype/nazi_zombie_heroes'

(see console for details)



When I compile the map I get:

ERROR: Could not open 'maps/nazi_zombie_tutorial.gsc'
   failed loading 'maps/nazi_zombie_tutorial.gsc' of type 'rawfile' found in source file '../zone_source/nazi_zombie_tutorial.csv'
ERROR: Could not open 'maps/nazi_zombie_tutorial_anim.gsc'
   failed loading 'maps/nazi_zombie_tutorial_anim.gsc' of type 'rawfile' found in source file '../zone_source/nazi_zombie_tutorial.csv'
ERROR: Could not open 'maps/nazi_zombie_tutorial_amb.gsc'
   failed loading 'maps/nazi_zombie_tutorial_amb.gsc' of type 'rawfile' found in source file '../zone_source/nazi_zombie_tutorial.csv'

When I compile the map's patch I get:

When I build the mod, everything is Ok.
