Are you able to edit stock scripts?
i added the zombiemode and dog scripts into my map scripts folder and entered them in my zone file
but any changes i make arent made.
you can take usermaps from the same folder as zm and dogs and changes you make in it work.
i just started messing with bo3 so i dont know if im doing something wrong or if you just have to make a work around like when it comes to setting your points

Hello all today i am releasing my new pokemon map, i originally had more features planned but since bo3 modtools beta is out im gonna start porting it over and just save the other features for the completed map. This is Pallet through Pewter city and the map does not require t4m.
Not much to say about it, if you know kanto you know the map, this map (seeing as it doesnt require t4m yet) will pobably get an update to expand it to cerulean city mt moon and bills house and add more of the ee that is pokemon related because this one goes off on a wild tangent but i have very little actual story line to go on atm because its only to pewter.
the map will take some attempts, also the pokeflute is just a melee weapon nothing more lol

But yeah the map is a little hard but you should be alright if you dont just blow through rounds and play smart.

Notes
Boss zombie and dogs wouldn't respawn when going to a new area i have hopefully found a solution but if not at least you know now.
After getting mule kick pick up a weapon off the ground before hitting le box.
Pap is on the map its not hidden but you can walk past it and never know it easily

so it isn't an every time problem but occasionally when i load up my map i will be missing random textures. its almost never the same texture missing twice, a simple exit of the game and reentering fixes it but i'm not sure whats causing it.
things to note: im using t4m but i don't keep my settings on extra
ugx patch: after installing the ugx patch it broke the dog fx so maybe that could be the problem?

just wondering if anyone has had a similar problem and knows how to fix it, thanks in advance

So in my new map I want to do it where you have to scavenge for weapons except the mysterybox will be available, however any time i pick up a weapon and then hit the box i get another weapon slot.
example
i have my starting olympia (i changed the starting weapon properly, including zombiemode_weapons and in harrys perks)
i pick up the mauser then hit the box
i get a third weapon. if i hit the box immediately again it will swap for one of my three weapons.
however if i get my third gun and swap one of my three with a weapon on the ground
then hit the box i will get a fourth weapon slot. anyone had this problem that may be able to help?

The soul boxes aren't important. Just get a badass weapon
You build the power in red's room.
You get two of the three parts by shooting three poke balls in two towns
The other is in a building.
If you find all the four picture pieces it will show the location of all poke balls.
Only one picture is in a house.
Msr helps with the ee and stomps celebi.
Stakeout is the best.
PAP isn't around? There is a soul box on a roof? You can go through a window? There's a ladder? Hmmmmmm

After much longer than anticipated I give you pokemon.
I plan on revisiting the pokemon theme.
I learned how to somewhat script simple things, and I'll just get better
So the new map will have a much lager ee and be of one game.
Back to this map.
It features Pallet Town, New Bark Town, Route 1(gen 1), and Littleroot Town
The ee cant't be started until the power is on
turn the power on by building it
you need to find 9 pokeballs 3 per town.
some are hard to find so I added a picture you can find bits to.
The ladder is convienit but not nessisary
the map is pretty challenging good luck.

when dogs spawn with zombies it makes the zombie counter go negative
(not really a problem so i probably wont mess with it)

so i hooked my laptop up to my tv and now every time i try to move around in 2d view it wigs out.

 tried just building something simple and moving around on a blank map but it seemed to work fine. i wasnt sure if it was
because i hooked it up to the tv and because i loaded a map with a lot of stuff (alot of models are hidden) that it just
spazzes out. or if my idiot self clicked some setting and made it happen myself.
any help to make it work is appreciated

Is it possible to make a boss round that is triggered at a point during an Easter egg that is only enemy's with guns? And no regular zombies spawn?
I've never messed with the enemies with guns so I don't know if it's possible. Thanks for any and all help

I was just wondering if you can make it to where a player has to do a certain amount of damage to a damage trigger before it's actually triggered via script?

Hello all my computers hard drive is crashing so I only use it as an external disk to pull things off when I need it.
My question is can I pull my bookmarked pages off it without actually running windows from it? I have a lot of tutorials bookmarked for the things I used in my map and I want to get them off so I credit everyone without having to find all the tutorials again. Thanks for the help

Hello i was just wondering if anyone knows how to make looping back ground music for different sections of a map that wont over lap. for example in my map i want pallet town to have the pallet town theme playing when the players are in the zone but when they leave to go to the next zone, route 1, the music of route one would start and pallet towns music would end, is that possible? thanks for your time.
I feel like i could use the touch trigger when they are in each area. but i don't know how to make it stop mid track without it overlapping. i know it involves scripting but I'm no scripter haha

I'm wanting to learn how to make my own zombie models from different models, however i cant find any tutorials because i cant find a proper search without using the word custom zombie and that makes stupid how to play the maps tutorials pop up. id really appreciate it if someone could give me a quick run down or point me to a tutorial?
i know the first few steps to it and how to put them in the map I'm just missing some middle info. thanks for your time

Hello everyone, I've started a map called "Pokemon, Where Legends Begin."
This will be my first map that I release (I've made another but it was more for me and my friends to play.)
It is will have four main sections, the starting town of the first three gens (Pallet, New Bark, and Littleroot), along with route one to bring them together. I'm trying to go all out with this and not just do the generic new mapper box map (because I hate box maps with a burning passion.)

i added in the thompson bigammo in my map. i did it right because i got no errors and i could buy it, but when i did all the parts that wouldve been the thompson were invisible, but the scope the tip of the barrel and the drum were visible. im assuming its because i had the thompson in my map also. how can i fix this? would just changing the file name of the thompson bigammo fix this problem? i changed the name in the file but that is all. thanks in advance
