Hi there, I'm currently facing a new problem.
I intended to make custom perk-icons. I used the bo2 icons (which work fine) and converted the .iwis to .dds using toms iwi to dds converter. then I edited them, converted them back and placed them inside my map-folder (and of course recompiled my mod).
Sadly, this happens:



Does anyone know why they get weirdly split up?

Additional info: I tied it without compiling alpha but that didn't work eiter.
                         The edited images are the same size (64x64) as the original ones.
                         Converting them using the Asset Manager doesn't work either (even though I did hit F10 twice).

That i tryed a long time a go.... and did not work this is because your material,vending_mule_kick_shader etc in your csv it try's to find the material in root/raw so the fix it to convert them with asset manager if you don't know the setting you need message me back :D

Thanks for the fast answer.
I did try to do it via asset manager but I'm not sure which options to choose. Untill now I only made textures, nothing UI related.
It'd be awesome, if you could tell me the settings(:

but why are most of them called _shader? Does that only count for BO perks or do I have to temporarily rename the Textures from WaW too?

So basically, if I get it right:
I'll have to rename them, put them into a .gdt, compile them with the settings you posted, copy the .iwis from the raw-folder, place them inside my mapname/images folder and give them back their old names.

please tell me if I missed something(:

This is what the bo1 ones are call :D but i am not sure what your asking but i am not sure if you did not do something because i have not done this that much BUT to me you did eveything

I didn't try to port BO perks, I just wanted to customize the WaW perk icons.
I think that I now understand how to make them act right but I'm getting some error (not related to the icons) which blocks my asset manager from compiling anything.

EDIT: nvm, I solved it, I saved the icon.gdt in a wrong folder by accident.

EDIT2: It works (except for doublepoints..)



I seem to have missed something but I'll figure that out, too.
Thank you for your help.

EDIT3: They all work perfectly fine now.
