I'm a noob to modding. I used a YouTube video tutorial on getting started. I did everything to the letter and when I load my map to test and see if everything works, it starts to load and then gives me a error message. the message says: Server script compile error, Could not find script 'maps/_zombiemode_utility'.

I could really use some help to get started and keep in mind I'm a noob so step by step instructions would be wonderful. Thank you to any and everybody who can help.

compile the mapname_patch in launcher should fix your issue

Thanks, I'll give this a try when I finish the new map. I thought maybe I did something wrong with the last install I did so I did a fresh install last night just to make sure.
