The thing is, due to the copyright of the games you need to own the original game you intend to take raw-files from. Eg. if you want to use bo1 models/anims/weapons you have to own bo1.
I mean you COULD get them anyways if somebody gives them to you but that's technically illegal and I wouldn't talk about this further on this forum.
However, I'm not sure if this applies to other (non CoD) games too.

Copyright applies to all games, unless the model and anims are custom made, if the model is ripped from the game then nope
