When I got to radiant and add my skybox it immediately crashes. I'm using the kvp

Which has worked in my other maps. This is after uninstalling ugx mod, and reinstalling mod tools. It crashes every map not just the one I've been working on.

So Im trying to add a cod 5 ready weapon from cfg factory and I can't get it to work, I followed the steps you would normally do, and it didn't show up in game. I tried adding it as a ugx gun and putting it in ugxm_guns.iwd. Again no luck. How do you do this? There's no ingame errors, nothing missing it's just not there in the box, or give all.

Now I know by default www is very dark and crappy looking so how do most mappers give it a bright day time feel? For example on hex z's Halloween town map the first pics were dark and the others were bright day. I have light grids and a sun, nothing changes the effect. Any help would be apreicated

For a few weeks now every few days my amd graphic software is uninstalling itself randomly. Im sure this is some sort of virus, but neither my malwarebytes program or eset anti virous detect it. Its extremly annoying because no games run without it. It started when I quit an installer for a random program. (Stupid me) If anyone could help even with this little bit of information, it would be appreciated.

For my Christmas map entry I want my chritmas trees lights to change from an off texture to an on texture. And I want the lights to kick in. How would I do this?

When ever I compile my ugx mod map I get this. It has a very large prefab in it, that might be the problem...

How would I be able to make background music from one location and make it get softer as I move away, like a radio? And how would I change the sound after one sound finishes playing?

Where do I go to add spec maps, normal maps, etc on guns? I cant find them anywhere, and I hate asset manager but its probably in there. Sorry, I know this is a terrible question.

In my map, there is a pit. If a player falls, I want to play a arms flailing animation and have it loop until the player dies. ( or leaves the trigger) how would I script this in? I'm assuming this is simple, but it probably has to do with traverses, which I know nothing about.

There's two ways to do this. One is lukkies way (best answer) where you make a weapon file, make the model the view hands and make the idle animation the flailing one, and disable cycling.

Then there is codmods way using a script you need to edit to work.

When I use toms xmodel utils, all models are white. When I click xmodel details, the only texture I have is the normal map. I searched my entire directory for the textures and they arnt there. Heres a screenshot of the model info:
 My textures appear fine ingame. I just need the pack a punch spec, so can anyone help me figure out why I dont have these textures? Im trying to add a custom pack a punch texture. Thanks  ;)
