It's due to the fx being played in that area. Sounds like you don't have a very powerful PC. Turn down some of your settings.
I have an A10 processor, but not a very powerful graphic car...

Not sure what I'm doing wrong, but I lag in the cornfield. nowhere else, just the cornfield. Anyone had the same issue?
