Hi,

I have followed all of these tutorials to incorporate a

Weapon Glow - SOLVED by ProGamerzFTW Check Best answer for solution

Glowing Eyes on Zombies - SOLVED itself. Don't know how.

Custom Power-up FX - SOLVED added fx,misc/fx_zombie_powerup_on to ugx's mod.csv
http://www.zombiemodding.com/index.php?topic=13839.0

But i am unsure as to why the weapon glow isn't working.

Can anybody help me?

did u uncomment the line

in mapname.gsc?

and did you add

level._effect["fxname"] 			= loadFX("path/to/fx");

for a fx you wanted to use in fxsetup() in ugx_easy_fx.gsc, if not using any already in the script

and make sure you put

maps\ugx_easy_fx::fx_setup()

before

maps\_zombiemode::main();

and

level thread maps\ugx_easy_fx::fx_start();

after

Easy FX is working fine its the other fx (weapon glow, glowing eyes, and power up fx) that aren't working and i dont know why. I have followed the tutorials to the letter. I'm just wondering if i have to do some further steps to utilise them with UGX.

I implemented it just fine into UGX without extra scripting, but I am kind of stuck as far as what could be causing this, I probably recommend trying and read through the tutorial thoroughly and double check every is where they are suppose to be.

I solved the power-up fx and the eye glow. I still cannot get the weapon glow to work.
BTW i added you on steam.

This is resolved.

In the tutorial over on zombiemodding for weapon glow had an error.

If you followed that tutorial, you'll need to replace

weapon_glows thread glow_weapons();

with

Code Snippet
Plaintext
weapon_glows[i] thread glow_weapons();
