Hi, i am currently downloading the mod tools for black ops 3 and its stated that the mod tools will take up to 50gbs of space with assets, now.. ive done that and it actually only shows me 23 gbs to be downloaded instead of the stated 50, is that normal? are the extra gbs gonna download after i finished the 23 gbs one?

The extra GBs are the adittional assets, if they don't show up as download, uncheck and check again it in the mod tools propertys and it should be downloaded.
