I use the 2015 version and the plugin works fine there. Don't know if Tom's plugin works, though, because I have it but never used it.

as most cods animations are exported to xanim from lemon now, and the BO1 mod tools stuff can be easily converted ( as can MW1 ), so theres even less need for maya anyway

I have tried exporting xmodels into maya 2014 and it worked, im now getting some basics down and i will later work on a full bodied zombie.
Everything is working for now.

zombies are not "one body" they are a "collection of bodies" in various dismembered ways

They will however share the same "material"

So i will have to do head legs arms hands separatly ? And material is the fx when shot?(blood splatter in this case i believe)

There will be

Head
undamaged body
Torso
Legs
Torso with no left arm
Torso with no right arm
lefts with no left leg
legs with no right leg
legs with no leg

and gibs for their arms and legs
