is there any way to get smoother movement using scroll wheel to go forwards or backwards? when i try to move through my map it jerks halfway across it

hold ctrl (or ctrl + shift, i forget which) and use the cursor to move instead?

theres also keyboard commands for movement?

i dont know if its something ive done, but the only way of moving forward and back for me is scroll wheel (jerky), or the arrow keys(awkward)

I generally move forward and back by holding the right mouse button and moving the mouse.

RMB = Movement going staight in any direction not up and down.
RMB + Ctrl = Movement going up and down
RMB + Ctrl + Shift = Angle of Camera.

Edit: This button controls camera mode as the control functions above change depending on the mode. Looks like there are three different modes.
