Hello people,
I have a problem when I try to install a custom zombie map for WaW it installs to the wrong area. By wrong area I mean the wrong User on the computer. When i look at the details of the installer it says that it is installing it to C:\Users\<banana>\AppData\Roaming when it is supposed to install to C:\Users\<potato>\AppData\Roaming (banana being the other account and potato being my account). I have downloaded exe and zip/rar from this site, the launcher from this site, zommods and zombiemodding. None of them work... Yet some how only one map worked, which is Nacht_ReimaginedV2.1. Do not ask how THAT map was the only one that installed correctly because I do not know. When the installer says that the install was successful, I go and look in the Steam CoD:WaW mods folder and it has the files in it for the maps I "installed" and I even looked in the Activision CoD:WaW mods folder and it also has the maps with the files in them too. I have reinstalled CoD:WaW and tried reinstalling the maps and that did not work. Do I just literally delete the CoD:WaW folder in the Steam directory and reinstall or do I do something else? And that else being what is recommended by everyone that replies.

Thanks,
Call_Me_Taco

the correct path is C:\Users\<potato>\AppData\local/codwaw/mods. The way to fix this is trace where the exe is installing the map & go on it. You will find the folder in there. Copy the hole mod folder and go to C:\Users\<potato>\AppData\local/codwaw/mods and paste the folder there. Lunch the game and choose the mod. Done.

Based on what you said, you are saying to go to where the exe map installer is installing the maps (<banana>) and copy the content of that folder to my account (<potato>) steam CoD:WaW mods folder. Tried that and it did not work :/
