Ok, so I installed all the mod tools with the help of some people in the Chat and YouTube videos, I installed the mod tools V 1-1.4 and the tutorial. I made my test map and ran the converter. I got the error "ERROR: dll version number does not match converter version" Which I was told was normal to get so I went and selected my map. But here's the hard part, when I use the "Compile level" button, it will load in for a second than launch CoD WaW. After that it loads a little box in the top left corner with CoD WaW and loads a level, than before displaying anything on the level it closes that screen and opens a new one. This one will load up the level and flash maybe 5-8 pictures in the corner of that box than close off. The following is the crash log I get in the console when that happens
If anyone could tell me whats causing this it would be much appreciated

to fix the "access to path" error go to where you installed waw and you should see a folder named "mods" right click on that folder go to properrties and in the general tab look for the word Attributes and make sure the read only box isnt ticked
then go here C:\Users\what ever you named your pc will show here\AppData\Local\Activision\CoDWaW\mods
repeat the same process for that mods folder as well that fixes the access errors
idk about the pysics preset errors rpg_impact_boom everyone gets that but i heard the sound file still works.....

Yeah, but when it's referring to a set of individual test folders that exist in the default installation it's much faster to delete the un-needed folders than to apply write permissions to all sub-files/folders. If it wasn't in this instance I would agree.

this way fixes the errors and is a lot quicker than deleting them
Ok, I did everything you guys told me to do but I still have an error when running the converter, When I run the converter it will run for about 3 seconds than say the error Some people were saying just to leave it but than it just stops there and wont let me do anything else. I know this is a bit off topic but I figured it would be better just to post it here than making an entire other thread on something that has probably been answered before. Thanks for any replies
