This is not the first time i have gotten the 400 fx error, but I used all the tutorials out there to help me fix it but nothing seems to work. I have commented (//) out most of my fx's but i still get the error. All I tried to do was add the raygun mark 2 but still the error appears when I try to launch my map. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Assuming you're using the one ported by Harry or from Stuffy's tutorial, where did you add the impactfx to? Mod.csv? Try adding it to your map's csv, which you can find in root\zone_source\mapname.csv.

Anything you add to this requires building fastfiles, so you only need to tick build fast files after adding it. Let me know how it goes since I have found adding to mod.csv puts me over FX limit, even though I have added over 30FX to mapname.csv.

By "impactfx" do you mean where it says "impactfx,ray_gun_mk2"? Because that is already in my MAPNAME.cvs
