Hey, I started this project about two to three days ago and I've been working on it nonstop. What I’m building right now is a standalone game that also serves as the base for its own custom engine written in C++. The long-term goal is for the engine to eventually reach a level similar to what Black Ops 1 and Black Ops 2 Zombies used, with the same movement feel, responsiveness, and classic pacing that defined those games.

For early testing, I’m using Nazi Zombies Portable assets as placeholders while I focus on building the core systems. Everything is being built from scratch so the experience stays true to classic Zombies, only with a few modern touches that do not take away from the original style.

I can’t give any kind of release window yet. I only started learning to code about a month ago, and the project is growing as I learn. I also have other non-gaming projects I’m working on, so I won’t be developing this full time. Even so, this project means a lot to me. I have been playing Zombies since I was four years old, and the mode hasn’t felt the same to me since Black Ops 3. That is part of why I’m so passionate about getting this right.

In the future I might release a roadmap once things are more stable. I’m hoping the engine will eventually be highly customizable and support existing Call of Duty file types so people can make and upload custom maps. The plan is to release the game itself first once the core experience is ready, and then continue updating it as the creator side of the engine gets built.

I’ll keep sharing progress and technical updates as things move forward. Feedback is always welcome.

my discord is 4day. if anyone would love to help out
