You could order a shirt or something. This will give you donor status and as far as I know spreadshirt has more payment options.

Donating via PayPal has the option of not using an account and just using a credit card. Using almost any online service that needs a monetary exchange will require one of the two options. Even the shirts need a credit card to be purchased.

Another option would be to ask sb who has either a paypal acc or a credit card, that's what I do every time I need sth I can't buy via my giro card or paysafe.

In the case of donating & buying apparel, from both Visa and MasterCard providers I've encountered no issues.
