sure no problem, to fix the Sound fx error you need to remove some sounds from your map.

Locate this file: C:\Call of duty - world at war\zone_source\dlc3.csv

Now save a backup of this file somewhere in case you make any mistake...

Locate this line of code:

(you can place // in front of any of them, but you don't want to lose sounds that
you need in the game)

Hey everyone, I just though I might just explain how I got Mr Hankey's script placer to work, as
I my self, was having issues with it.

Ok well first off i'm almost certain that the error you are getting is "one already exists" when trying to create
scripts for your map regardless if it is Reise or Prototype.

Now I got this error over and over regardless of what script placer version I used.
However, when I relocated my call of duty root folder (uninstalling then reinstalling) I found that it worked!!!

I have multiple hard drives on my computer and had the codwaw root folder located on my D drive. as soon as I relocated it to my C drive: [C:\Call of Duty - World at War] I found that suddenly the script placer began to work. I would suggest trying different locations if your keep getting this error.

To get the sounds to work on any of the multiplayer weapons go to your raw folder in your codwaw root folder.
Then go to your soundaliases folder, find the file called weapons.csv and open it with notepad or notepad++

Search for dp28

you will find code that looks like this:

(the code is a bit squished in the following example but it will look pretty much like this)

Close to the end of each line look for all_mp

change this to all_sp
and that should fix your sounds.

Just repeat for type 99 LMG its the same process. Good luck and let me know how you go :D

You may get an error saying that you have exceeded you sound fx limit. if this happens let me know and ill help you through it.

Hey every one  ;D

An update on what i have been doing with this map:

I have been working on the weaponry in the map. (there have been a lot of changes)
some of the guns when upgraded have attachments on them!
a lot of the guns will have custom skins!

I have in general just been working really hard to make the map as customised as possible.
Also at the moment I am currently working on trying to make the map look more... "pretty"

My map is complete, but is still in testing. The map has been renamed to DER STURM due to other maps being
called house of horror

- My map features a range of new weaponry.

- there is a bit of a surprise when you PAP you gun

A lot of guns have attachments  ;D

- I have added an additional perk to my map all the other standard perks are included

- A LOT more zombies

- Zombies run from the start!

- THE FRIDGE (you will know what I mean when you see it)

- And lots more custom content (score colour, zombie counter, 3 song easter eggs, green round counter, gun skins, new firing sound for the starting pistol, starting pistol is stronger ect)

Still having problems getting the rising zombies to spawn :-\

Do I need to add any scripts for this to work? (I'm already using script placer)

hey, im having problems with getting riser zombies to spawn.

Ive followed the tutorials on the wiki and by other users and nothing seems
to work? Any advice thanks :)

I suggest making a house with a front yard and back yard. Detail is a must for small maps like a house, so it'll be good practice. You'll also learn how to use terrain patches if you make the outside areas.
