Hmm, ok I guess I'll keep looking around at these files to try and figure out why they are getting scattered.

its my understanding, its installed to desktop then "moved" to the correct place, then the desktop file removed?

They "should" go to Appdata/activision/CODWAW/mods

in any case, the files put there, are the only ones that matter, any others can be ignored or deleted

Would it make any difference that I am running the game off steam?

Why does the map manager download maps into SystemApps Folder among other random places such as WinSnx  and not into the folder actually made for it? The mods are working, however, I don't really want these files scattered all over the place. It also makes it really difficult to transfer everything from my ssd to my hard drive.
