PHD Flopper first xD
I mean, if you get PHD right first, you'll get the rest done in no time.

Mule Kick is just increasing the weapon slot limit, which can get hard if you don't know what you're doing.
Deadshot I'm not even sure if that ever works perfectly.
Who's Who and Tombstone is just saving values temporarily.
Electric Cherry is spawning a fx and a damageradius which you do with PHD anyway.
I'm not sure how Stamin-Up works.
Vulture's Aid can get glitchy, but not bad.

PHD does seem like the best option for first because you WILL spend the most time on it. D2P, if you can get that working, can get really buggy. FX might be too much so you'll have to adjust. Framerate lag from the explosion. If you can handle PHD, you can handle the rest no problem.

Wait, I thought needing the specialty_ thing for perks were built into the engine, so you can't change that through script.

At least that's what I was told before

You can script workarounds that check for perks differently. It's basically like setting a player.hasXperk variable to true or false. More complicated of course, but that's the base idea.

you can get around this but you need to script new HasPerk SetPerk and UnsetPerk functions

just to note tho, make sure youve got blent test set to GE128 to show the mesh behind the grates, and make sure the texture on that mesh is set to "unlit" to show the glows here

Yes and No since this was released about a year ago but was full of bugs and you had to do the models your self now its gonna have no bugs hopefully  ::) and come with the models compiled into a .ff

We have single scripts for bo2 perks we have bams perks we have harrys perk we gonna have ugx 1.1
so why would we need another perk system wich works the same than all other?
or at least the perks it self will work the same.
also the only way to beat harrys PHD (hardest perk to script) is add dolphin dive anims because it's a perfekt copie

Im not saying this is going to be the best perk system, ive just had this sitting on my desktop for a year now and wanted to re-release it, yes Harry's perks might be the best out there but theres not much competition  is there  ::) and i always feel like having a variety of items is better than only having one option, i was rescripting this for my BO1 and WaW mods anyways so why not re-release it ;D

we have bams perks
And i wouldnt recommend using Bams perks the yare buggy as hell :( but they did start the port other game perks to WaW thing so atleast Bam has that to his name

Bam's are rather buggy and UGX Mod Perks is not a fair comparison as they require the mod to use them, and some people don't want this, let's keep it to standalone scripts.

why do people say the hardest to script is phd? i think its vulture aid because theres somush that can go wrong while phd is one of the simplest

just make sure to check "on ground" before checking for "landing in prone"

Thats why we see all these super PHDs when crawling down stairs lol

Need to check they got higher before falling, not just that they fell ;)

thanks for the tip Harry, but i already have that party of PHD scripted :D next up is blocking damage when you have PHD should be simple

This particular issue is pretty much generic anyway, rather than "harrys way" ;)

The way i did it, is the same as any other PHD to date lol, I think its just the easiest way

in any case, damage_override is all I was hinting towards ;)

As for the "Vulture Aid Tombstone and Whos who", again your free to take whatever you want from mine, or if you just want to ask a few questions or whatever, you can reach me here or on skype etc ;)

and yet you still think a visual perk like vulture aid is more likely to cause bugs that a ( if done incorrectly ) operation that can get you stuck in walls/stuck in prone/stuck in players/ stuck in actors, ontop of things you shouldnt be able to reach/ through windows you shouldnt be able to get through etc is "easier"?

Im going to redo NDU at some point with these perks but im going to try and get it where its works on all maps not just NDU (e.g Shi No Numa, Verruckt)

Just to point out one thing about mine that I wasnt too sure of while porting the BO2 script ( never really "used" the perk in game, youtube was pretty much useless on this one too lol )

I wasnt sure in this case

# While your in whos who mode, buy Whos who again, and go down again

Does the first clone vanish? Or do both remain?

Reading the code was extremely confusing and seemed to imply that as long as "a" clone is revived, and you are not currently "in" last stand, your revived with your stuff - from what i could gather anyway. So Im pretty sure i made it that way


there was a function relating to "multiple instances" in the BO2 script, i guess i need to go check that again, but if anyone could fill me in, thatd be great lol

Yes. You only retain the things that you bought after entering who's who mode.

Embarrisingly, this is actually what i did originally, then thought it was wrong and spent ages changing it to the "wrong way" lol

i would keep the "wrong way" cause its a nice feature being able to go deeper into whos who mode the only thing is it could gspawn the game cause of all the models its spawning :( especially in coop

well thats a good way around the gspawn but yeah now that youve reverted it would be too much hastle to go back :(

Thats because i dont have the vulture FX yet they are just place holders

thats another place holder untill i get Cherry fx (also it tells me what i should name my fx)

the less ammo you have in your clip the better the fx (number on the end rises)

when I get phd flopper and i get hit by a zombie i get player (jason260) has phd flopper but damage could not be blocked (MOD_MELEE)

when I get phd flopper and i get hit by a zombie i get player (jason260) has phd flopper but damage could not be blocked (MOD_MELEE)

did u ever put tombstone in the map just wondering

i thought i removed that (it was just so i could find what damage types PHD wasnt blocking that it needs to block)

and if you restart and look at pap you will see tombstone despawn (its coop only)

Thats because i dont have the vulture FX yet they are just place holders

Next update will have Vulture FX

hm they shouldnt do, il look into this later on atm working on getting release set up :D creating and testing .ff and .iwd so that you wont need models, fx and all that jazz

took a look into this and it turns out that its just delayed the zombies do walk away but not immediately this will be fixed in the next update
