You can still camp, but eventually boss zombies will spawn on you which will most likely force you to move. There is still training as well, but its alot harder. You wont be able to just run circles with your eyes closed like you could for most maps in BO.

arr that clears things up now cheers, im glad you have two difficulty options and for some suggestions, perhaps in the 'easy' mode just have brutus as the boss zombie but in the harder one have the panzer instead? and with turned perhaps we can have gungame in their where we cycle through all guns in map rather than 6 shitty weapons and thats it (BO2 Turned)Actually, with the way its setup now, only brutus and the generator zombies can spawn as bosses when playing easy. Also, only one type of boss (excluding the Panzer Soldat) can spawn at a time. The Panzer Soldat follows the origins spawning setup - but will not spawn on easy.

Yeah still making lots of progress. One of the newest features that ive added is a "challenges" mode that you can play with the classic gametype. These are random ideas people give me to make the game more challenging. For example, theres one where you can only buy perks from the wunderfizz machine, and theres another where you can only use the shovel to dig up weapons rather then using the box.
but then we can spam the wunderfizz to get perks cheaply? unless there is a 4 perk limit in which case there should be a way to get more than 4 perks, i like the digsite instead of box - so all box weapons come from digsites insteadYes, there is a perk limit which can be avoided by getting the random perk drop, or by digging up a bottle with the golden shovel from a digsite which gives you another perk slot for use with the wunderfizz just like in origins.

And for the digging challenge, you don't get good weapons until you obtain the golden shovel, which makes it a bit harder then you think. :)
Is there anything happening with this map?Yeah im still adding stuff to this map, sorry for being so inactive recently. The most recent stuff that ive added was the napalm and shreaker zombie from shangri-la along with a few new challenges. Its been alot of work going through the beta testing, because theres always something that needs to be tweaked or random glitches that pop up.

For all you beta testers is the sliquifier legit like does it do the things it does in blops 2?It does act exactly like it does in bo2 before they patched it, so it can chain up to multiple enemys. There are a few problems I need to get sorted out with it though that have been taking longer then expected, so im not sure if im going to be able to include it in the released version at first. I'll have to see how it goes.

Is this map still in development? It's been a while since we've gotten any news...All the features are pretty much complete at this point. I have recently been fixing up lots of bugs that me and a few testers found. How so? The map is fantastic, stock or not. Maybe if it ran better on your setup you would enjoy it more but if your only disdain for it is down to it being a stock map then your priorities are all wrong.

Its not like i dont expect it, but this and comosea are the 2 maps that i would enjoy/play more if they ran betterComosea is portaled professionally by CoDMapper himself and even has performance settings (fog toggle, fire toggle, etc) for people who want to get the most FPS on underperforming rigs... it should be here soon, like, really soon, we couldnt find any bugs map wise, he's squashed as many as he can find, any bugs in the map will probably only be little things people purposely try to find just to nit pick, the map is amazing and im 100% sure you guys will like it, but be warned, this map is hard, even on easy its hard, but still amazingly fun, if you guys complaing the swan was hard just wait, this will be a real challenge, I have my 28 downs in 1 game to prove it xD, but like I said, I was just cracking up, freaking out, and sat in ah the entire time of this map, no doubt you guys wont love it :)Well, that statement might calm me down until the end of the week, but after that imma go back to impatient twitchy mode! Just going to update the topic to let you guys know the map is not dead. The map has recently been going through alot of testing and im trying to fix as much bugs as possible so you guys can have the smoothest gameplay possible when playing. I also have recently been working on a new grief type gamemode for the map, so hopefully this will be something competitive players like to play as well. Im not going to reveal much about this gamemode, but i will say that it'll be alot different then what your probally used to. ;)

Most of the old weapon collection has been replaced with newer weapons. In addition to this, some old wonder weapons have been removed (JetGun & Slipgun). These weapons will be featured in other maps instead.
I'm not sure if I'll get an answer for this, but I'll ask it anyway. :PWith the way I set it up, the host picks what the game settings are after the map is completely loaded up. I found this method alot easier then editing the menu files.
If I want to play that Grief-type gamemode, how would I select it? Would it be in the level selection (where you select the zombie map) when you're creating/hosting a game, or will it be like the UGX-Mod (where the game starts, and before it begins you can choose which mode you'll play)?

Bug testing has been taking longer then expected. I have lots of features and want to make sure they all work smoothly together. Trust me, you'll be happy im taking this amount of time to fix the bugs in the end (hopefully!).

Hey guys. Ive decided to post what i think is going to be my last update as the maps nearing completion. There is going to be an addition to the crane in the video i posted earlier. One of the crates that the crane picks up now is able to be opened up so players can enter. If the crane picks up the crate while players are inside it, it takes them for a ride around the map, acting somewhat similar to the tank from origins. Zombies are able to jump up into the crate once its stopped moving, and the mech is now able to use the flamethrower and booster at the same time (only when players are in the crate)Dat arx

Did you just take all the scripts from Black Ops 2/ Black Ops 1? anyway looks niceA few of my scripts have been based from the given scripts in the bo1 tools package, but other then that, everything ive done has been created from scratch in attempt to get it as accurate as possible to the original.

Typically Mediafire takes longer than Mega for me, but it doesnt stop, Mega has the tendency to freeze at 99% but if its on a good day, i prefer Mega for it being much quicker.that's right!

after seeing MrDalekJD play, I saw that The map looks a bit crowded, and there is at least 5 bosses, can you keep it at 2 and have 5 bosses in Hard Mode (wait 5 bosses - 2 bosses= 3 bosses :o Half Life 3 Confirmed :troll: ) Just kidding, but 5 bosses seems just too much
I agree, and apparently Panzers spawn Round 22 on easy, even though i thought he said no panzers would spawn on easy, and that helicopter that kills you, i dont think should be on easy, i think easy should mean easy, with it being an ordinary map like official maps with brutus popping up now and again, then the other bosses etc can appear on the other modesI couldn't agree with you more mate, because when i saw that, it looked bloody hard

I think that the amount of bosses in this map is nothing short of overkill. The astronaut has no place in the map at all and neither does the screacher or the fire zombie. Panzer and Brutus are fine though as they kinda fit the theme somewhat.
Just because you can port them over well doesn't mean you need to put them ALL in one map. It will ruin this map if they all stay in the final version... just saying.

After being so protective of this map and not allowing any of the testers make videos of it I was surprised to see redspace200 allow a big YouTube personality go wild with it, and I am sorry to see that it did not turn out better. I could be wrong but I don't think I remember MrD mentioning redspace200 a single time in the whole video. Like NGT and some other channels with ego-centric personalities, MrDalekJD is a shameless self-promoter that sensationalizes his videos with over-dramatized commentary. Everything is awesome, every video is deserving of a like. Those guys are all about the money, and they will say anything or label anything in the pursuit of more money. Any hate generated by MrDalekJD's pre-review screencast of the project viking beta is 100% on him for misrepresenting the video as Black OPS 3 and trying to bait in Youtube viewers for ad hits.

Plus I think this is over the top anyway. I don't think MrD humiliated the map, but I think it was misrepresented and I also think that Redspace deserves a little more credit than he was given in the videos. Assuming that Redspace did ask MrD not to praise him too much in the videos, I can understand why he was not mentioned many times.

I am just a normal guy like you all are, enjoying maps that the community have created, and recording them and uploading them to YouTube. I never intend on creating these videos to offend and annoy anyone. I create them to showcase the talent of map creators and to get a little bit more exposure of the map so more people can enjoy them. This is not an attempt to start a flame war, but to offer civil criticism and my own opinion, which I hope you will reflect on.
An apology here is deserved and acknowledged, but if you truely believe it you should consider posting a video apology on your channel to viewers and to redspace200
for misrepresenting the map as BLACK OPS 3, and not acknowledging the mapmaker by name.
Unfortunately, this action could also draw additional negative feedback from your core followers. It should be up to redspace200 to decide if he wants a publicly apology, but my guess is he would just doesn't want this type of attentions and prefers this matter goes away.

Personally, I have difficultly accepting your explanation.
1. You failed to mention redspace200 by name at least once.
redspace200 seems to be a quiet guy who doesn't want to publicly draw attention to himself. He seems like the type of guy who lets his work speak for him. I respect that and I apologize if I'm drawing more attention to him by responding your apology. It is possible redspace200 might have personally requested for you not to mention him by his handle/nickname at all. However, if he didn't, it sure seems like a kick to the groin when you can't take 10 seconds to acknowledge months of effort, but have plenty of time to tell your viewers to "smash the like button" to generate you some money.
2. Misrepresenting the preview. Use of deception (click bait) to generate hits/likes for revenue.
First you misrepresented the video as "BLACK OPS 3". It is a compliment to redspace200 to compare his work to a Treyarch map, he is certainly deserving of it. However, you personally have a long history of publishing click bait speculation commentary videos on your channel to generate hits/likes for revenue. By misrepresenting the video, you drew in hate of an audience that while possibly liking the map, did not appreciate being deceived. You may have renamed the title, but you still include click bait "BlACK OPS 3" text in the description which returns the video during a search query.
Research and preparation can be used to present information concisely and accurately. These are good habits in any field of study (not just video games). Unfortunately, despite drawing attention to map features, your playthrough commentary came off as extremely fake and overly-dramatized. This translates into you being the center of attention and not the content you are supposed to be previewing.
I'm not sure if there were any conditions set on the amount of video you could show, but if there were no such conditions, you should really have considered just doing a screencast of live playthrough and then posting a two hour video. Your reactions would be genuine and you would present the map fairly as it unfolds. Let the map speak for itself. If you miss some things, come back and post a follow up video that shows some new discovery.

Like most youtube personalities, I believe you get some enjoyment playing games, just like the rest of us. But you do have a profit seeking motive and that is clearly outlined by branding, like/button requests and overlays, and generally eccentric commentary. So really, it's not just about playing games and posting videos, lets be honest about that.
I think redspace200's work speaks for itself within the custom zombie community. Other mappers and scripters respect him, and even lurkers like me have noticed the fruits of his labor. I can't speak for redspace200, but I don't think he needs "all the promotion he can get". When the map is released (assuming he hasn't changed his decision), others will notice. If redspace's motive included using project viking as a technical demonstration for use on a professional resume, then again, he doesn't need "promotion" from a youtube personality. The work speaks for itself.
Offering feedback and comments is always good though, because it can lead to reflection.

The UGX-MOD community were mostly bystanders in this and aren't directly involved, but if some took offense to your video it could directly impact your ability to get future beta access to videos. Most people are keenly aware that having beta access and having a "youtube exclusive" preview can add thousands of hits/likes resulting in more money for you. So you have a self-interest in maintaining a good standing "relationship" with the community.
I really am impressed with this map though. Must have been a nightmare getting it all working correctly. I see several things that I assume were not easy at all to implement.
Not sure about my take on the amount of bosses though. Id like to think as many as possible would be cool, but maybe there are one or two that could go, or at least only spawn under certain conditions (maybe as part of a easter egg)

maybe he can make it where one side of the map open up on a timer and spawns different bosses on the other side of the map..\Actually quite a good idea, like a door that otherwise has no use. Except on certain round, or at a certain point of the easter egg, releases multiple boss types (sorta like killing the Panzer Soldats on Origins)

This is a very smart move in my opinion. The spaceman seemed a pointless addition anyway, and looked a tad buggy from what I have seen. Screamer is also not very suitable for the map. Brutus and the Panzer are fine though. The main aim should be to make a map that makes sense and everything within it fits the theme well enough, otherwise you will just have a clusterfuck of all the best things from BO1 & BO2.

This is not necessary at all. You can let the bosses, just need to organize them. What i mean? Well, This is a part of an idea I will post later for the Custom Map Ideas Section.I mainly removed them because they did not suit the map at all. Put 2 random special bosses on every 2/3 rounds, not the hellhounds/Spacemonkeys, etc, but the ones who appear at the same time with the zombies, like the panzer Soldat, Napalm, Astronaut, etc. Even you can include some hellhounds (Maybe 4 or 5 per random round). :yeah:

All of these are very good suggestions, but I was getting the idea that people did not want more features as it would just make the map more complicated then it needs to be. I do have quite a few ways of transportation (Instead of landers), cia models (no voices), and placeable traps. I have a new area planned before release which will expand the maps size to.

Would you rather wait and get a polished kickass release OR an unfinished/untested release with potentially numerous errors which you would then complain about and bash the maker/s for releasing early?
I understand with the lack of official Zombies until at least 2015 and the insane quality of many current & upcoming projects it can be difficult to be patient but I guarantee allowing mappers time will only benefit us all
How? Simple, they will release projects which are well-crafted and as bug-free as possible which in turn will minimise complaints [i.e. negative criticism] and help motivate makers to invest time in further, possibly more ambitious, projects
This in turn will lead to an increase in quality maps and so on and so forth
The other side of the coin is potentially a scenario where makers either release lower quality work to meet demand & damage their reputation/s OR cancel projects and possibly quit modding altogether
This could result in anything from apprehension regarding future projects due to a dip in quality to the crumbling of the community which is something I hope doesn't happen
On topic, I cannot commend redspace enough for the mindboggling work going into this project - truly outstanding and more than worth holding out for
I, for one, would gladly take one fantastic release over a release needing several revisions
I look forward to hearing more about this in the near future :)

As Im nearing completion to this project, I have decided to add in one more enemy type (as the result of me removing many other bosses) which will be found in a new area I have planned that is slightly more open then the current areas I have now. The purpose of this is to allow you to move around a bit more, while still making this area kind of risky to stay in.Absolutely flawless!!!!!!! :D. Cool boss... Maybe add more ways of being killed 8)

Now I need some feedback on this. I don't currently have a "punishment" or downside if he is able to sound the alarm. I thought about spawning more AI, but didn't see that as to big of a deal to the player. I want to do something that will make the players not want to get caught, but not insanely bad to the point where it will ruin there game. Any ideas are welcome!

He shouldn't be considered a boss, more so a threat to the players. He is going to be completely avoidable, for those who don't like this idea.
Awesome addition! ;DSealing the exits to the area was my original idea, and I still kind of like that one as well. The map already uses alot of fx, so I don't think covering it in fog would be a option. If I do the sealing exits, I may be able to have the bos turn into a cloud of mist, which has to have a certain # of damage dealt to free the trapped player.
As for a 'punishment' how about sealing all the exits to the area you're in until it is vanquished
That plus, if possible, a constant stream of enemies [both regular and special maybe?] either in that area or across the map - this would hinder taking the enemy out and also prevent revives if people are split up
Or maybe have the map become almost pitch black/covered in thick fog [though I imagine that may cause issues] to make taking him out even more treacherous
Irrespective of the eventual decision I cannot wait to see how this addition mixes up the gameplay, a thoroughly deserved +1 :)

The boy of silence should cause i ringing noise in your ear like if you were to stand close to your own frag and it blow up, but if any zombies are around it they should be stunned to, but when you kill it, anything around it should take damage.+1

Can't wait for the map to release. Has all the epic features I enjoy in a map. All the way from an great EE to boss zombies. Also epic wonder weapons. Also best of all unique game play. What you have here is a map that will change the face of custom zombie map making for ages. Nice job.

And there like no way to contact him, cause he deleted everyone off skype and blocked me :-\. I'm one of lucky few got to beta test the map, and i can see it was absolutely amazing! He decided to move on and is deving a engine last thing he said before he blocked me. He completely done with world at war in a whole.
And the stuff he did to me and my other friends arent call for. i wont state them here.
But hate break it to everyone,

besides, Redspace has to release the map, it was in the contract he didnt know he agreed too, when he allowed me to make a trailer for the map he also agreed to my contract stating in section 34b that any trailer I make for a map that map must be released, there is also a part of the contract in section 23a stating the contract does not need to be mentioned or seen to be agreed to :troll: also ill probably die from depression if its not released so theres that too

My personal opinion, if you don't want to work on the map anymore that is fair enough, but if your map is at a playable state, then i would release what you have, as it seems a lot of people would be hugely disappointed if the map didn't come out, based on some peoples responses to the sheer possibility of this happening, a lot of people have been anticipating this map for a while, and it is common practice for the best looking maps to not see the light of the day, how about changing that pattern up and give the custom scene some sun light?Mate, we just talked about not pressuring him into releasing it as it is (i think). These are the type of comments that would make me want to walk away from a community if I was developing a map.
I understand the disappointment, but I find the growing mob mentality and number of entitled posters here somewhat disturbing. Playing free maps, making a few comments on a forum, or waiting for map release doesn't translate into contributing toward development.
A number of talented individuals contribute their time and energy developing maps for what is mostly a hobby. Nobody owes any of us anything. The WaW mod community like other modding communities, survives on goodwill, respect, and contributions. Please try to remember that. >implying that I'm a angry mob cause I shared my disappointment of a possibility that the map was canceled.
