The animations in this are on par with the custom anims seen in this community.
I'm not sure how, since the people who were in charge of making this work on PS3/XBox 360 probably had a team of dedicated animators to work with it, and it still looks like the anims in this community.
Let me know what you guys think, but obviously, PC, this really doesn't apply to you, since you have the latest version either way, so your anims are top notch.

G'day all,
I'm here to talk about the Black Ops 3 Specialists of Multiplayer.
I have one problem with this at the moment, and it's the fact you can kill a specialist with their own weapon.
This is strange to me, as I would've though it would be like Team Fortress 2.
By this, I mean the Pyro, who is fire resistant, so when it's Pyro Vs. Pyro fight, it takes forever, as there won't be any burning damage.
But, in Black Ops 3, if Firebreak (Fire man) runs into another Firebreak, and they both have their specialists weapons out (Purifier) they will both die instantly.
I feel as if Black Ops 3 should have a system in place to make it take longer to kill someone who is the same specialist as you.
So, basically, Sparrow Vs Sparrow would be like a Flak Jacket C4 fight, as you should have extra resistance to the Sparrow's explosive damage.
Same logic would apply to the other specialists, such as Ruin, Seraph, Battery etc., as this would make it more interesting as well as balancing the game, by making you think twice about taking on another specialist with your special weapon. Abilities could be balanced using the same method, but it doesn't really matter (possibly).
Anyway, let me know what you guys think.

Welcome to compound, the map on tighter lockdown than Alcatraz on a good day. This map was made by the genius of Weapon Porters and Creators themselves, ElTitoPricus, and was released onto UGX on November 1st (Australian Time) to great appraisal, although it hasn’t received as much attention as the market is currently being flooded with maps that want attention before Black Ops 3 is released. Now, without further Ado, let’s get into the Pros & Cons for this map.

PROS:

Weapons on Point: As expected from Eltito, His weapons are on point, with a range of weapons to choose from, from the MIA SOCOM M14 to the Spitfire LMG from Titanfall. The anims on all these flow well, and work even better. He even added a Katana with the best sprinting animation I have ever experienced, as I feel like such a gumby bastard when I sprint with the Katana, I can’t honestly explain it, but it always makes me smile.

Custom parts flow fluidly: In this map, he has added a few custom features, both from himself and his best friend, Paranoia D. Such things include way a perk is consumed, instead of drinking it, you inject it into your wrist, which I thought was pretty innovative, as well as the custom Dual Wield weapons, as you were able to fire either one of the weapons, by following the initial on-screen Prompt after buying/receiving a DW weapon.

Map Design was great: This map looked as great as it felt, the atmosphere was uplifting and refreshing as I was slaying nazi zombies in broad daylight instead of the dead of night, which was a refreshing change. Plus the colours of everything made everything seem more fun and cheerful, unlike most maps set in the night.
Now, no map is perfect, so let’s get into the Cons of this Map

CONS:

Short Easter Egg: Although this map is fun, the buildable EE wasn’t very enjoyable. Yes, it was nice to have a change in how it changed from a buyable to a survive-to-win ending, it was relatively easy to find the parts, then to survive the 5 minutes.

Broken Perks: PHD Flopper is in this map, true, but unfortunately, it is broken as it doesn’t do anything it is supposed to remedy you from, such as Fall Damage and Explosive Damage. This was felt when using the light beam rifle, which is required to be shot at the ground, and it has an extra-large blast radius, meaning you will most likely damage & kill yourself instead of the zombies.

Not too many areas to train: This map hasn’t got too many areas where you can train. But, it does have a very easy camping option, which, although brings back nostalgia from the NDU days, doesn’t really fit with modern standards of people wanting to round ‘em up.

Final Verdict

Level Detail: 9/10. It’s a lovely map, beautiful to look at.
Custom Content: 10/10. All things in this map are custom, including the Knife Model
Fun Scale: 6/10. Fun to Slay, Alright to play.
Replayability: 5/10. After you PAP every weapon on the map, there really isn’t much left to do in the map, you could challenge yourself, but hey, not my call.
Overall Score: 30/40

I Understand all of you are probably PC users who will say 'Why not get a PC, it'll run better, and you can upgrade it easier?' Let me explain.
For those who are unaware, I'm on the move too much to own a PC, and Until I can settle down in one place for a long period of time, I won't be getting a PC, but I will be investing in a Laptop, which is the one mentioned above.
This is at the tip of my budget, which is $1600 AUD.
If you can find a Better laptop, with similar/better features than the one mentioned above, feel free to let me know below.
Thanks for Stopping by,

Welcome to Lavender town, a map from a creepy-pasta from a game that I’ve never played. This map was made by Midget Blaster, who was also the creator of the cluster-f**k of a map, Cryogenic, and, true to his roots, has loaded his map full of custom content. This map was released onto UGX-Mods on Halloween (Australian Time) and the traffic was so overwhelming, the initial link just up and left the party. Well, without further ado, let’s get straight into the pros & cons of this map.

PROS:

Vast Array of Weaponry: This map, like it’s brother Cryogenic, is loaded to the brim with custom content, from models, guns, textures and even the sky are all custom. This is a fun little element of gameplay as you can try out as many guns as you feel inclined to.

Little Side Quest: *MAJOR SPOILER ALERT* this map has a mini adventure hunt within it. For those who haven’t played this map, you have to find a satchel of C4 to blow open a wall, which will reveal an elevator that will allow you to ascend a certain tower. In this tower, you won’t find much, but you will find Stamin-up, a Der Wunderfizz location, the staff upgrade podiums, and the MPD with a purple square in the place of the little ball thingy. But be careful, there is a jumpscare here, if you approach the MPD, you will get jumped. Although this isn’t very rewarding, it is interesting to see that he implemented a little quest on the side.

Verruckt Sprinters: Now, before you get mad at me, hear me out. This is a great feature that he has made plentiful use of. This is because it speeds up the gameplay of zombies, instead of searching for that last zombie, he will come screaming around the corner and before you know it, you will have found him. This is also useful for solo players, as it means that if you stuff up, there’s none of this slow and agonising death, it’s over within a snap, as Verruckt Sprinters are excellent swarmers.

Soul Box is rewarding: This is a major improvement over the Cryogenic (and every other soul box quest) by a long shot, as this offers players the opportunity to earn a free Sliquifier, instead of the overused Ray-Gun & Thundergun. Although these boxes take forever to fill, the reward does speak for itself.

Now, no map is perfect, so let’s get into the cons for this map.

CONS:

Weapon Balance is out the Window: Unlike cryogenic, the weapon balance was no-where to be seen. For example, the M27, a god of a gun in actual Treyarch zombies (R.I.P Nuketown) was completely useless in this map, as it just took forever to kill anything. Then you look at the ACR, which, although having less reserve ammo, was a wall weapon and was 1 shotting into the 20’s :poker:, like seriously, the balance of the weaponry is nowhere to be found.

Felt rather easy: This shares a trait with Cryogenic, but not in a good way. After you do the soul chest, it’s just a slow grind until you (and your bank) have earned enough money to escape the map. Although it was less open than Cryogenic, it still felt lazily easy as all you had to do was get Jugg, an ACR, and run in a rectangular box inside of the soul box location inside of spawn. You could even go without Jugg, if you felt really adventurous.

Ending is ridiculously high: The ending in Lavender Town is 500,000 points, and this can be achieved the same way that you managed to make the 420,000 points for the Cryogenic ending, you used the bank. But, this takes time, and it feels like a lazy way to extend the gameplay, as you are stuck there until you earn the required points from the bank. It usually takes about 20 rounds or so to earn the 500,000 points from the bank itself, meaning more time you must use to earn the required amount.

File size is incredibly high: This map weighs in at a whopping 817 MB, which is incredibly huge. This map actually requires you to install a patch that allows your World at War to be able to handle the amount of stuff in the map. The biggest custom zombies map I've ever downloaded by a long shot, and I doubt this record will ever be beaten. The reason this is a negative, is because people who might want to play it can't, because either;
a) don't have the space for a map this size
or
b) May not have enough data on their modems/Portable Hotspots to download such a large map

Final Verdict

Level Detail: 7/10. The detail is nice, but with so much blood everywhere, it felt blasé.
Custom Content: 9/10. Everything, literally everything is custom, except the Knife Model.
Fun Scale: 7/10. Is it fun? Yes. Is it fun to grind for 500,000 points? No.
Replayability: 3/10. I honestly had no drive to play this again after I finished it.
Overall Score: 26/40

G'day all,
Since Treyarch has come out and said that they will be 'remastering and remaking the fan favourite zombies maps' for Black Ops 3, it's time to play the guessing game.

This also means we will be getting 2 zombie maps per DLC (1 for Shadows of Evil Storyline, and 1 for the NEW OG crew storyline, thanks younger Richtofen)

And I propose this through the use of a fan-created list, by stating what your favourite maps are/were from BO2, BO1 & W@W.

You can leave your reasons alongside it as well, but don't drag this out.
You can only pick four, as this will be the imaginary list of potential DLC for BO3.

I shall start 1st.
1) Mob of the Dead, as I love the mobster theme, and the Death Machine was in the box, what's not to love?
2) Moon: Zombies in SPAAAAAACE!!! as well as the Wave gun & QED's, you know, no biggie
3) Ascension: The 2nd map I had completed an easter egg for, and it was tonnes of fun to be able to use the Mustang & Sally to their full potential
4) Kino Der Toten: So much fun was had on this map, from mods to just plain old zombie slaying, it was always fun to load this up and kick some Nazi ass!

Have fun guys, and look forward to seeing your lists

G'day all,
Now before you all rage at me and tell me to get a Desktop, let me explain...
I am constantly on the move, and having a Desktop would not suit my needs as i am not in one place for very long.
But, I do have time to set up a Laptop and have a quick game on it here & there.
I am looking for a decent gaming laptop from anywhere between $500 - $1500 AUSTRALIAN DOLLARS. as $1500 USD would end up at something around $2000, which I might as well buy a Desktop at that price.
Anyway, any help/advice would be appreciated, and any links to said laptops also be appreciated

Welcome to Box Map X, the best box map to have seen the light of day in recent memory. This map was made by Chromastone10, who is known for such works including his incredibly successful map, Collingwood Psychiatric Hospital which makes you wonder…

why would a man of such prestige, make a box map?

But then you must realise that this was released on April Fools, alongside such wonderful creations like the Darude - Sandstorm map, where the best thing to do was jam to the classic Techno song most commonly associated with Montage Parodies.

To be perfectly Honest, I am surprised no one has reviewed this map, because it is possibly the only box map ever released to deserve such credit. So, without further ado, let’s get into the pros and Cons of this map.

PROS:
Weaponry is on point: Since this map uses the weapon loadout from CPH, you can automatically assume the weapons are on point, which they are.

The Astronaut from Moon is here: He decided moon was too much for him, so he needed to find a smaller area to patrol and just so happened to stumble upon you. His is a nice addition to the map, making it not as easy as it could be. He also brought the Ascension monkeys for the ride as well, which also add an interesting challenge to the map.

Winnable easter egg: This map features an easter egg which you don’t actually have to buy (I know right? I was shocked as well) which is a refreshing change to the standard save up a tonne of points and buy the ending.
Not one Sandstorm reference: This is perfect

But, no map is perfect, so let’s get into the cons of this map

CONS:
Stopping the Monkeys does sweet f**k all: Apart from a max ammo which you will get regardless, something to reward the player for stopping the monkeys from touching your beloved perk machine would’ve been nice.

Final Verdict
Level Detail: 7/10.This map wasn’t really mean to be a detailed masterpiece, since it was made as an April Fools map.
Custom Content: 8/10. The weapons and majority of the models are custom, but the viewhands and Knife model are not.
Fun Scale: 5/10. It was fun, but nothing too exciting.
Replayability: 3/10. I can’t really say this map had any staying power, it is one of those maps that you can play a few times for s**ts & giggles, and that’s about it.
Overall Score: 23/40

Welcome to Rainy Death, a map more miserable and rainy than the city of London on a Daily basis. This map was made by the ‘OG Finnish Mapper’ HitmanVere, with aid from people like RollonMath42 for weapons and RelaxingEnd for hype. It was released this morning (Australian time) to great appraisals from the general community. Now, let’s get into the pros and cons for this map.

PROS

Weapons are well ported: This map gives access to a vast arsenal at our disposal. The weapons themselves function how they would according to their corresponding titles, such as the BO1 AK47 and the AW MORS Sniper Rifle. Other delicacies include the bane of every CS:GO players existence, the AWP, the Brakka-Brakka M93 Raffica and the carrier of zombie slaying, the Ray Gun Mark 2. All of these function perfectly and I couldn’t find a single flaw in how they functioned, except for the fact the AWP would suit better if it was rigged on L96A1 animations, because reasons)

Easter Eggs for everyone: This map has 2 easter eggs, the main easter egg that allows you to escape the map, which isn’t really different as every map has one of these but, it has an easter egg for the useable tomahawks, which are also in this map. This is refreshing to me as I like to go on scavenger hunts to uncover secrets that give me handy rewards, like the Blundergat from Mob of the Dead.

Perks work fluidly: Nowadays, people now have access to well ported perks, thanks to people like Harry Bo21, and some maps still use the older ported perks, such as Bamskater’s perk set. This Map completely sidesteps these 2 options and makes it’s own, become friends with a very good scripter and make your own. These perks work just as well as their official counterparts, and I love them for it.
Now, no map is perfect, so now let’s get into the cons of this map

CONS:

All Cons have been nullified.

Final Verdict
Level Detail: 9/10. It’s so detailed, my Laptop loses so many frames with Specular maps enabled, so I can’t enjoy it fully (low-end laptop)
Custom Content: 10/10. Everything, literally everything is custom, INCLUDING the Knife Model.
Fun Scale: 8/10. It is a nice map to play, for both casual players and players who like to challenge themselves with self-limitations.
Replayability: 7/10. This map can be played a few times as you can try out different strategies to see how far you can go.
Overall Score: 34/40
