Hi, I need your help. I play cod waw from years and I remember the last patch is 1.7.1263.
So two days ago my friends bought the game from steam, install it, i told to download ugx manager, meanwhile we try to play normal maps.
So I host der rise but the cant join it!! they try to host but nothing.
With open game at manu page on the down right i have the 2.0.42 version and my friends the 1.7.1263.
Obviusly we can't play together...
 The question is:
How i can have the 2.0.42 version? How did i install it?

That happens because your friend has probably played a map that needs a thing to increase the limits of the game.

Tell your friend to download this:

And extract the file "d3d9.dll" in WaW's root folder. It should be C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Call of Duty World at War\.
