When i try to download the 1.5 patch for my WaW it comes up with an error message saying: A valid Call of Duty(R) - World at War(TM) installation could not be found at the path speciefied. Please specify the path where Call of Duty(R) - World at WAR(TM) is installed.

hey man, it sounds like you dont have waw installed correctly, You can try to
  • Reinstall WaW
Or...
  • delete everything from ur root folder and the reinstall the WaW game
