I use a (Huappauge version 1) HD PVR for most of my console recording but as for my desktop, I'm super cheap so i refuse to spend money on software when it can be used to buy more games!!!!!

So i use a program called FFsplit, if you have used it in the past and hated it it's way better now and for those who wanna record say "emulator's or your Cod maps and don't wanna spend any money get FFsplit.

you can record multiple windows at one time, also most free recorders don't allow HD recording without a watermark, No fucking watermark EVER!!! and this program records audio/voice at the same time as recording video from two separate devices (like music or commentay etc..).
