zNiic, why are you putting me in this situation? This is way more than mere concept work, it looks like a LOT of work has been done already. If you were going to submit a map that was already half done you should have posted a picture from much earlier in the process.

Your map Survival: Gas Station was a WIP on ZM for months and this looks way more involved than that map and you are telling me you put this together in 4 days?

Gas station was done in about a month. I had a finished version for awhile but wanted to add some more. I spent a couple of days adding extra but decided not to add it. I also was scripting for awhile for the buildables.

I also find it hard to believe that you made that much progress in two days (based on your Day 1 and Day 2 pictures), but I suppose when you are making a nearly direct copy of an existing map then you get to skip a lot of time in the creative process that would normally slow things down. I personally do not see a way for you to prove when you started the map since anything can be manipulated, so I will give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you are playing fair here.

Most likely not related to that, in which case I don't really have other suggestions script-wise.

Do the zombies tend to only drop dead in certain areas, or is it all over the map?

map really is amazing when it comes to visuals, but the zombies dying off really is a gamebreaker and needs to be fixed, also a lot of doors for the map and not cheap either, however the EE RGM2 is a nice touch

I agree with Alex. Map is really something special. You have replicated it brilliantly, and the way you pathed it out is excellent.

There is of course several major issues with it ASIDE from the dying zombies. Hope you continue to work on this map. It is one of the best custom maps I have ever played, and I think I have played them all now.

Black Ops 2 perk icons would be a nice touch too. ;)

There is a few. I will do my best to list them.

1: When you come out of the spawn by the 2000 door, the debris crates on the right can be jumped around from the left hand side, by passing the barrier. If done by ALL players, the rounds skip through without zombies spawning.

2: The door downstairs that cannot be opened beside the box location has no been clipped, so you can walk through it and fall through the map.

3: There is an invicible barrier in the room with the Ski Lift. It blocks training around it and has no debris there so it seems like an error maybe.

4: When you throw grenades on the floor of the square where the box is, they go through the map.

5: The door upstairs to the AK47 can be bought, and opened, but cannot be passed through. Barrier prevents it.

6: Respawned under the map after bleeding out. Only happened once though.

There were a few minor ones too but I can't think of them of the top of my head. Will report anymore I find though.

Again though... this map is amazing mate. Really think it is one of the best custom maps I have ever played. Brilliant work!

to add on with DB in the case of minor ones, when it comes to building the power switch you have to move around quite a bit for it to say 'place part' and also Jug is 3 hit, which is really irritating, as considering its price, and all the other doors to open, to get it and then just go down is not on, these and what DB said are the only issues found so far

#3 is because of a zone issue. If you buy the crates it will go away.

It's already finished technically - he's fixing some bugs at the moment and once the bugs are confirmed as gone, it will be released on the UGX Map Manager and a post will be made here :)

not sure if this is a problem or not, but i just tried to play this solo or coop, and if you dont kill the zombies, the zombies just keep dying off, and you can keep going through the rounds without doing anything.

I am running the zommods version right now, and the zombie no longer die off randomly, which is fantastic news.

So far, no other major bugs have been found.

Well, having ran a game to round 25, I found a few bugs are still present, with except for the zombies dying off issue.

They include...

The door downstairs on the left from the original box point is still not clipped.

Grenades still go through the floor in the snowy square beside Jugg/Pack-a-Punch.

Mule Kick does not work.


The top two are trivial, and can be completely ignored, but Mule Kick could do with fixing. Also found the perk hud icons tend to have some above others, but these aside, now the zombie dying issue is no longer present, this is one of the best custom maps I have ever played.

I think the reason mule kick doesn't work may have to do with the ugx _perks.gsc

I am not sure about Jugg being 5 hits, but I am pretty positive I took 3 hits several times in my game and did not go down.

Mule Kick I can live without anyway, but hopefully it can be addressed at some point. Not sure why the perk icons are all displaced, but again, it is trivial.

@zNiiC. Again, I cannot praise that map any more highly. It is brilliant, and actually feels like a studio map in the way you placed everything, and priced it all in order to access the power parts and eventually Jugg.

If it had BO2 perk icons and maybe some objectives (:P) it would be even better, but as it is, it is really something special.

yeah ive seen NGTS playthrough, bit annoying about mule kick as that is the BO1 perk i wanted the most, but the map itself looks awesome and i think its a shame it wont be updated with v1.1

There was no easter eggs or objectives that I could find unfortunately, and Mule Kick is not working properly, but I expect these issues to be addressed as some point hopefully.

Either way, you will still love the map nonetheless. It is one of those rare maps that is extremely good fun to play on irregardless of objectives and easter eggs.

Actually feels like a W@W/BO1 map.

You can add it into our perks file...

Keep in mind that any function in zombies that deals with giving and taking weapons needs to check for mule kick, otherwise you will end up with infinite inventory bugs.

He hasn't finished it yet, which is why it's in the "Work in Progress" section and is not featured anywhere on the site or in the Manager.

Yeah, but it's not the complete version yet... just the version that took Mule Kick out and sorted the zombies dying off.

We are still waiting on the finalized version of it... if it ever comes at all. There is still a few outstanding issues that need to be resolved.

Shame, because it is currently my favorite map on the scene.

Buy the game legit and maybe someone will help you. Pirating is against the rules of the site and is illegal altogether.

You need a program such as WinZip (search it on Cnet for a download) that will unzip it. Unzip it into the mods folder and youre good to go.
