Alright guys,

I am working on a new mod adding all the lovely perks from bo1 to bo3 into Call of Duty World at War.

Some cool testing gameplay. :sunglass-smiley:


I feel this is missing to UGX, the perks that could be downloaded are maybe old or removed from the website.
I don't know if I am gonna release this to the public because I am afraid this is going to be boycotted.
Or that people are gonna complain it doesn't work and stuff.
Take from me that I will do my very best to make this mod as stable as possible.
It should be also easy to install and quick to use!

This is currently my list:
--=-- Perks --=--

Quick revive = Done
It should react the same way as the perk with quick revive and solo revive where the zombies run away when you are downed.

Jugg  = Done
Starting with 100 health and 250 when player has jugg

Double Tap 2.0 =  Done
Should react the same as Double Tap 2.0

Speed Cola = Done
Does it need changes?

PHD = Done
Added explosion damage when falling would normally deal damage. It is doubled when the fall would kill you.
Normally you would deal damage when you do the dolphin dive but I am not going to add that in this mod.

Deadshot = Done
Added extra breathing time when aiming down with for example snipers.

Staminup = Done
Keep it the same as the perk

Mulekick = Done
Only need to add a hud to show the player when it has the third weapon.

Who's Who = Done
Keep it the same as the perk

Tombstone = Done
In solo this vending machine is removed because it has no purpose.
I don't think that's right so when you are downed with solo revive you will also get your perks back except Tombstone.
(The revive uses are getting lower everytime you use this perk in solo)

Solo is done!
Co-op is done!.

Electric Cherry = Done
Keep it the same as the perk but maybe it needs some tweaks?

Vulture Aid = Done
Keep it the same as the perk, maybe I have to tweak this a bit.

Widow's Wine = Done
Keep it the same as the perk.

Music for new perks = Done
Shaders for new perks = Done (Gonna use Fusorf's shaders. I already credited you man for your hard work! :)))

I was thinking about to make a IWD file and a patch file to support the creator his map.
gympie6_perks.iwd This contains images, scripts and weaponfiles
localized_common.ff (patch file for loading all the images, models, music and soundeffect ect..)
localized_common_nofx.ff (Same as the localized_common.ff (Must also be renamed to that) but without pushing the creator to use T4M for the map, replacing fx with existing ones)


The following things will not be included in this mod!:
I am not going to set a deadline on this mod...
Remember this mod is just an idea... that's all.

Small update on this topic, currently I solved a lot of problems for vulture aid, tombstone, who's who ect..
It's going the right way at the moment and slowly implementing the good stuff to make it work.

If I can keep my head together and work on this it can become a beta version. And when it's a beta I will share this mod on UGX.
March is a good deadline for me... @kielrgz

But still I won't promise anything, all the things are working almost fine now except I want to redo vulture aid.
(Without the waypoint system of the perk shaders because those work like a charm)

Questions I have about this mod.
1. Can i add the mod to base WAW maps? (Verruckt, Shi No Numa, Der Riese etc.)
2. Can I change the perk symbols?

Hey @Jayisboss233 ,

On your first question I am afraid I don't know. (I never made a mod for basic maps like Verruckt)
If all the maps do accept "Der Reise" scripts I think it's possible to add them.
There are mods with perks for all the maps so I think this is no problem.

On your second question I can say Yes!
If you open the: gympie6_perks.iwd with winrar or something similar go to images.
Replace the perk symbols with yours and you're done.
This must be done in the mod folder, after that build the mod to make it work.

This mod will be delivered the same way jei9363 aka Bamskater33 did for his perks.

Cool. I've seen a mod for Der Riese called Der Riese 2.0 and I want to do kind of the same thing. People have added Stamin Up, Mule Kick &  Deadshot Daquiri to Der Riese so yeah.

Updated the beta release with some bugfixes and removed the beta access from the topic.

I solved 3 little bugs:
- When using the setting "tombstone_use_solo", you could also get the laststand pistol after you got revived while having Quick Revive and Tombstone.
- Quick revive distraction point didn't work when the zombies were too far away from the distraction point's location.
- Double tap and other related perks checks were performed on turrets and other objects that could gib zombies. This is now player only!

Added a new download link and left the old one at the topic.
You can see the difference by looking at the version number.

If you have installed v1.0.0 please redo instruction step 3.1 and replace _zombiemode_perks with the newest one.
(Make backup of  _zombiemode_perks, if you have changed some settings then copy paste the values to the settings just in case something goes wrong)

You need to redo all the install instructions about this perks mod.
And I mean that I tested the newest version in my own map.

If I were you, test this map with one of your own friends before releasing it to the public.

look update the script only with the one that said instructions and now buying the Who Who if it revives you when you are lying on the ground. what I ask is ... if he revives the character thrown. in co-operative will your partner revive?
You need to redo all the install instructions about this perks mod.

Yes, but that's not the bug Alain reported about your map. I am currently unable to revive my teammate. I don't need to buy a perk to make this happen.

I think something went wrong during the installation.
Maybe if you reinstall this again you can fix this.

seems ive done everything right, but the bo perks still come up as control pannels, i have the localized_common.ff in my mapname folder, built the mod and everything, but still come up as control pannels within radiant, is this just a thing in radiant or are they supposed to show up?

I helped Chasr34 with the scripts and noticed that another perk mod was installed.
Before installing this mod, It's best to first uninstall any other perk mod before installing this one.

Little update, I am currently improving the perks and fixing some bugs.

My todo list:

:white_check_mark: fix: without electric cherry perk vending models are not ON! (add machine light fix to next release)
:white_check_mark: fix: Double and Headshot dmg scoring is not right
:white_check_mark: fix: third weapon selected with mulekick does not change to default after going down
:white_check_mark: fix: re-check Who's who
:white_check_mark: fix: re-check if power is already on!
:white_check_mark: fix: Don't show tombstone while everyone is down!
:white_check_mark: fix: Fix who's who FX vision to normal after you got already down
:white_check_mark: fix: able to move while doing the reach out hands animation
:white_check_mark: change: add more support if distraction_point isn't placed
change: make sound streamlined?
